It never occurred to me that Angel could felt tempted by the blood but you're right, very probably.
Loved it - and glad to read that it will be continued, the story begs for it. :D

Oh, please don't end with such a tease! This is leading to such a great beginning! Great Spike characterization, and very believable talk with
Angel about his hesitance to help Buffy even with squicky subject matter. Loved how Spike sized her up after her first sentence, and how he's looking forward to more. So am I! Let's get some spuffy action!

I'm begging for a sequel to this story! What an intriguing story line. And it was so well written, the characters completely on par with who they are. Love how Buffy came back to life just as sarcastic and warrior as ever, not all moony and in love, because that is who she is. Always thought it was weird that Angel said he couldn't save her life. So I'm on my knees, please write a sequel! :-)

Author's Response: You've got a deal. I'm glad you liked the story so much. Buffy wouldn't be the weakling of later seasons, it's the S1 Buffy that had yet to sleep with Angel. :D

I already told you on spuffy_wonder that I loved this, but I had to post my sentiments here as well. It's a very, very unique take on the prompt and I'm so excited that it may lead to a sequel. I agree with the other reviewers: it screams for a followup!
