Ah... Buffy is thinking more about what the others will say about the issue (including her parents, huh)? I don't think she is honest to herself.
Sounds as if she was ready to give this relationship a try at the end of the chapter (with Spike's help).

Whew! That's my sigh of relief that it was nothing more than guilt that caused the friction between Buffy and Spike. Even though they haven't been "siblings" with each other for a while, Buffy's feelings are understandable because of her inexperience.

I've always been patient with this story of yours, so I will read-on when you're ready. I'll be waiting :)

Having read this right after chapter 12, I was left with Spike in the "Huh?" camp.

The lack-of Buffy perspective leaves the reader perplexed as to what Buffy is feeling, but it's probably because she's so confused with first-time feelings coupled with the Sex with Spike! guilt. I'm going to read on with chapter 13 to actually find out what happened. I'm so glad that you updated so quickly as to not leave me in torment.

Gosh, I don't know how I've missed catching up to your stories. I'm not even sure which chapter I last reviewed, so I'll start with the smutty, even though I've read-up to the morning after.

Now that they've finally consummated their growing and very non-familial desires for one another, it should be apparent to Spike that this is probably something more for Buffy. She gave her virginity to him, which she probably could have unloaded off to some secondary character out-of-story (Angel? Parker?) which makes is a big deal.

When Spike tells Buffy "you've never been in love" you know that that's going to have to do with things later in the story. Buffy will either 1) admit to loving him, and Spike won't know what to do with her love or 2) Buffy will run scared because she doesn't realize that what she has with Spike IS real.

Anyway, this was a fan-worthy, ice-cube crushing-with-my-teeth-type of chapter. Well done!

Seems Buffy was a bit overwhelmed because of what happened before. And this was such a sexy way to wake Buffy up. Seems that talking would have been better. Hindsight...

yeah, i'm right there with him, i don't get why she reacted like that, but i hope she gets over it, there's nothing wrong with what they're doing. the sooner she realizes that, the happier she'll be.
