I love this start - have to say I'm looking forward seeing Spike and Buffy hide behind closed doors! The bad part is that I don't think Dawn will be too pleased if she sees them together. Bad for Buffys friendship too but I have faith in you and you will write a good story!

Author's Response: Hmm, you know, I think my muse is getting pretty full. She can be such a pig sometimes...lol! As I've already written the chapters when Dawn finds out, I'll just say it definitely won't go over well, but I'm working on how I can make there be a happy ending. Why bother with anything else? You're an evil and extremely talented writer! You got me hooked in one chapter. At the end of my read I was all, "How? What? How?" like silly Xander. They just won't be able to help themselves, no matter how much they both love Dawn. It's going to be angsty!

It will get angsty later on, that's kind of hard to avoid in this situation. And nope, when it comes to those two, they'll never be able to resist. I hope you continue to enjoy it=)

No, don't lose heart, keep going. The premise for this one looks good. And although this type of plot line has been done before, I'm sure you can keep it real and write it with enough originality to make it seem really fresh. The fact that there's already a relationship between them will be a big help in driving the plot forward. This is a good opening chapter to what looks like a promising story. Keep going :))
