This was a really lovely chappie, loved Spike's song ...it was perfect. And Hank is being a good father,the offer to move in was practical. Less stress that way. I'm glad Buffy told Spike to pursue his singing, even tho it'll be hard on them being apart.

Good that the pregnancy is going well. I like how its not all about the pregnancy but you still tell what is happenning with it..

I wonder what will happen with Spike's music.. Really hoping it will go good..at least eventually..
Nice that Buffy and Spike are talking. Still I am a bit worried about them..

I really enjoyed the updates.. even if I wanted to hit several people in the head..like Parker. Amazing how stupidone can be.. You really write the characters well.

Author's Response: Thanks Kirsty! :) If I don't finish the story by Monday, the updates may slow down, because I'm starting a full-time job, and I'll be working 40-48 hours a week! Yeah, I'm trying not to make the pregnancy be THE story. The story's more about Buffy and Spike and if they can stay friends and lovers at the same time, which Buffy feared might be impossible at the beginning of the story. Lots more soon!

Thanx for the quick update. :) Can somebody please throw Parker into a ditch or something? He is pissing me off. Jerk. Liked Xander defending her. And poor Spike is really trying so hard but Buffy seems to be pressuring him, even tho she doesn't mean to.

By the way, if money is so tight, and Buffy and Spike are watching Dawn so much, perhaps they should just move into the house? They would save rent money, and they could watch Dawn whenever without worrying about where to babysit her (the house or their apartment). If might help to have Buffy's dad around, too. Another adult is always nice to have around after a baby is born.

Worth continuing? Well, I think it's a good story, but you have got many threads going. Maybe you just need to decide when in the timeline you want to finish it. Then, you could work backwards and plot out the events you want to cover. From there, you could either cover them in a really comprehensive manner, or in a less detailed way. I wouldn't leave it unfinished, because that's never good and always frustrating for readers *grr argg*. :) Anyway, good luck deciding.

Author's Response: Thanks! I really don't think there's that many threads going on in this story. There's the Buffy/Hank angle, the Buffy/Spike/music/baby/family angle, and of course the Drusilla/Parker pair that likes to muck things up for them. I think I can easily tie those ends up. :) More will be posted soon!

i wouldn't feel sorry for her, i'm thinking it was an abortion and not a miscarriage like buffy thinks, typical. but i'm disappointed because i wanted everyone to find out that dru was pregnant, too, so then maybe they would stop bothering buffy.

Author's Response: Yeah, I understand what you mean. That would've been an interesting angle, but at this point, I wanted to focus more on Buffy and Spike and try to fade Dru out of the picture.

The hard reality of life. Balancing your career in music with family. Going to be very stressful for the both of them.
