Yay for another update :)
I'm glad that Buffy has a reason now to come back. Especially after Spike having his epiphany now. Lorne was a good addition to this chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks, i love Lorne so it's great to see you guys loving him in this, i don't want to mess up his character so i do my best to portray him as i see him, a great character and a wonderful man. Awkward, the day after. Or better said the way they both reacted. But it sounds as if Spike is in love. Heh! Spike has Buffy's ring!
Enjoyed the chapter.

Author's Response: Hmmm, the day after can be strenuous lol, i don't know if i would have been able to pretend to be asleep, or in Buffy's case not say anything. He's not in love yet, but he wants to love so badly that it can't be far off, the thing is i want to try and make this as realistic as i can, so it'll take time, but not too much lol, i like to think time moves differently in the spuffy verse ;) Thanks so much for the review, glad you liked the chappy :)

OKay good chapter but didn't she drive there so why did she walk back. It will be interesting to see how quickly they will go back to each other. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: shit lol, you're right! I had gotten so wrapped up in wanting her to walk home with her thoughts that i forgot she had a car, that's okay, i can work with it lol! Funny how she's trying to let go of a piece of her past while he's holding on to it to remind him of a much more recent past. Love that little touch. And How very afraid he seems to be of being loved. And she is the only girl who knows his real name. I know this isn't the end, but I eagerly await more. Please, update soon.

Author's Response: She was a little slow with that wasn't she lol! First to jump in front of danger to protect others, last to protect herself every time. Sigh Buffy (shakes head). I'm liking that she is confronting her own issues head on, that she's realizing how judgmental she is as well as her friends, all too often even i write about Willow, Xan and Giles being in her face about what they thought she needed and all too often i forget that she, out of all of them, was the hardest on herself. Thanks so much for the review!

Heh :) I like Anya, she spoke only the truth (about Xander's comment).
I like the twists and turns that happened in this chapter. And the lesson Buffy learned about herself (and her friends including her new friend).

Any riley beating or bashing i'm always in for. spike was just protecting his girl , of course he doesn't realixe she's his yet but he'll get there . I'm curious to why he considers her poison though , what happened to him to make him so cynical.
