Mmmmh could be that Rowan is the man from the last chapter. But he said he considers Spike as a friend. Well let's hope that this counts for something.

I'm worried that something might happen to Spike, it's just a bad feeling I have, but I also know that if something does, he can hold his own pretty well. And Spike doesn't consider it to be a date, but I'm thinking Buffy does. That should go over well...lol! I'm glad you decided to continue this=)

Ok, the first part is a bit confusing but anyways, I will continue to read this! I like Lorne talking to Buffy but not revealing too much. She has to figure things out by herself eventually.
