Love their date. Love the tension. Love him fleecing her at pool. I'm even good with him fucking up their date. But using that line to do it, I barely even makes sense to me. I just don't think that is something that Spike would have said in this situation. It's a personal opinion, and I will be back for more. I'm just going to pretend he said something more original to piss her off. Granted, I have no idea what that would be...

Author's Response: I used the line because it was the my version of the line Spike used on Buffy during Wrecked, Season 6. I felt that it showed how Spike's mouth and hyped cockiness gets the best of him. Spike's mouth always seemed to be his worse enemy. i'm glad that you'll keep reading.

Well she was "playing" with Spike and he's no squishy cute cuddly William, he's bound to say something..controversial. I hope when she gets into her apartment and sexually frustrated she'll realize that she acted a little hastily. Update soon please!

Knew it was going pretty fast for both of them....

And Buffy does seem to be an aggressive girl.. Spike just opened mouth and blew his chance ..

I love how how tense and nervous they were around each other. And hey, at least it meant they both stuck to the whole no sex on the first date thing! Can't wait to see when it really gets spicy. :-)

Love the juxtaposition of sweet and nervous William with confident aggressive Spike! it makes him eve more adorable. Such a fun chapter. I also absolutely love Clem! He's hilarious and everyone needs a good friend like that who is going to keep it real. :-)

Well, that really is going well for them. I do wonder if they are crossing boundaries, entering into a romantic relationship when the are opposing council, but for the sake of Spuffy, I will allow it. And I just love Clem. He is a great foil for Spike. :)

Finally some zing! Seems like they'll be firey whether they're arguing in the courtroom or "interacting" out of the courtroom! It's nice to have just a fun and sexy story. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Love how Wolfram & Hart can still be down right evil even without the demonology. Don't quite see our William whole heartedly embracing the evilness in that place. Wonder how the trial will turn out. And what will happen when he sees Buffy again. Update soon!
