Drusilla seems to have known that Spike would be drawn to Buffy because she (Dru) took him away.
But Spike didn't notice that he had wandered to Buffy, being drunk (it seems).
Buffy sounds as if she is trying to rebel a bit, going without asking Angelus. That could get her beaten again.

OK ..I'm liking this, but could you please stop the foul language from Buffy? The best thing about her is that she is a class act not some dim giggly bimbo. That's what Spike likes the most about her. She would never express herself in that way. Just a thought,...Thanks!

How I love my bleached hair vampire. Spike is the best. Spike has always had that bit of William in him which makes him so different. He really is a pussy underneath the big bad persona. Buffy seems to have kept some of her human ways too since she doesn't seem too evil. I just hope that she at least eats people and I know that sounds wrong. I just don't want to read her as some goody good vampire who doesn't even eat people. A nice vampire ok. If that makes sense. LOL I fear that Angelus and Dru are going to cause problems for our couple sometime down the road. They need to be dust. I feel bad for Buffy on how Angel is treating her. But that only makes me think about that Spike probably went through stuff like that on the show. Angelus treated him like dirt and he is a master vampire not some minion. Dru treating Angel the best even if it was Spike who did everything for her. I always said poor Spike on the show. Nothing came easy for him and had to work hard for everything. That makes me love him so much because he works hard to get what he wants. I'm glad to see so far that you seem to be keeping Spike in character. It is so sweet of him to be taking Buffy out. They are their to friendship and hopefully more. They also need to dust Angelus and Dru. They don't need them. What?

Initially I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one because I don't usually care for subservient Buffy stories--but this is turning out to be really great! And very interesting how you clarify the love-hate feelings that Angelus has toward Buffy. That gives the story a better twist than when Angelus is written as either just hating her or even just not caring about her. I absolutely cannot wait to see where this goes!

Poor girl is a good minion. Love how annoyed she is by having to deal with all new minions, thanks to Spike. And I love that Spike is drawn to her, even though she's been put through hell. Maybe it's just him being selfish, cause he doesn't like sleeping alone. But when it's our Buffy, we all like to assume it's more. Looking forward to more.
