Congratulations on the new family member, I'm impressed that you find time to work on your stories with a newborn around.
Great chapter, I can't wait to see what happens next. As much as I love Willow, I hope she realizes that Buffy just wants an out from being alone with Will.

Spicy Buffy and Pigheaded Spike. That's a comb. Now if we can just bring those two together. What chemistry they have even if they can't admit it yet. Love the fucknut term. Classic!! Great read. Deep and funny at the same time. Of course Spike does not know what the hell is going on at the end at that he stuck his foot in his mouth yet again. Very typical. Men! I don't blame her for getting upset, he definitely was unintentionally quite rude and unthoughtful. Just when they were getting along too! Nothing more hurtful then when somebody makes a comment about you might being unlovable!

poor spike - truly clueless. knowing a man, he meant it as a teasing, humorous comment, not realizing how hurtful it could come across. i can't blame buffy for her thoughts and actions, but i can't totally blame spike, either. gotta feeling this journey will be a lot rockier before it gets to any smooth parts ... looking forward to more!
