Author's Response: currently re-reading this story & then i'm going to go ahead and try to write an update for it. things got way out of control in my real life for a bit but it's all starting to slow down now.

Author's Response: i promise, promise, promise that i am writing right now. I have a few more pages and then a read over to do and then I will post it. It's been re-written six times now (because I'm being psycho) and it's finally getting as close to what I want as I think I'm going to get.

WOW! This is a fabulous story, I just read all 24 chapters in one go because there was no way I could stop. I love the characters and this last chapter absolutely made me cry. I hope there will be more soon!

Just wanted to let you know that even though I think Buffy is acting a little childish....love the story and waiting for the next chapter. Did not want you to think I did not love the story because I pointed out some issues I had with Buffy.

I was very concerned that I may have ticked off a few readers with the last chapter and found myself tempted to take it down and re-write it. Yes, you are correct that they are both in the wrong. And Buffy's actions were also quite stupid. But Spike is the one who basically told her to leave and is now in the process of letting her leave. They should have just gotten mad, had it out, and then made up. So I look forward to seeing how this mess will get sorted out. If you wanted this chapter to rile someone up it was a resounding success!

this is ridiculous, they're fighting over nothing. so he lied about cecily, it's not the end of the world, not like he's doing anything with her now. he doesn't even want to be around her, buffy was the immature one who went off and got drunk. spike just lashed out because he was hurt, we've all done it. if they really loved each other, they would talk about this instead of just running away. it's seeming like they're both just looking for an excuse to get out, and that's really heartbreaking because i was enjoying the fiction until this point. i hope you make it better, the angst is feeling too forced for my liking.

I know Spike should have told her about Cecily but really Buffy is acting childish. She had a job to do but skipped it, got drunk, and subjected herself and Spike to possible media coverage of, and her parents finding out abt her drunken escapade. I think Darla wasn't being a friend to Buffy or Spike by letting her get drunk instead of talking to Spike. I don't think Spike needs to run to her apologizing when she handled the situation badly

ooo drama. its been a pretty fluffy story so far with a few minor set backs for our fav couple but now shit is going down! a little angst always makes for a better make up moment :) yay for new chapters so quickly after your short but unplanned break. keep it coming
