I love how Spike and Buffy found one another after such a long time. I'm glad Buffy has someone she can trust and that will back her up.

What a story of lost and found friends. Buffy being assualted by Ted is horrible, too bad she doesn't have a nanny cam in the room to record his behavior so that her mother and the police can become involved. Camera's (especially since Spike is making a movie) can be a great witness. Look forward to more!

What Ted is doing to Buffy is horrible. I hope her mom sees him for what he is soon, so that Buffy does'nt have to be scared anymore. Hope to read more soon.

Why, oh why, does Joyce find it nessasary for Buffy to like Ted? She wants to be with him, fine! Buffy will be old enough to move out in less than a year if she doesn't want to live in the same house as Ted. As long as she can be civil to him, she doesn't need to play happy house with him and Joyce. Unless she's worried that Buffy's dislike is the result of her seeing things more clearly than Joyce does,

Author's Response: I think it's a parent thing, they want their kid to like the person they're dating, but Buffy has her reasons for not liking him. He's not a good man, which will be shown in the next chapter. Joyce is just too oblivious to see it right now.
