Whew. I just re-read this story for the - what, sixth? - time and it's still so so great. I just had to come read the reviews on it! (Is there a fan community for fan fiction?)

I just knew with all that coughing, William had consumption. After giving our couple such a hard time, surely, SURELY, the Powers That Be will send Buffy & William back to Buffy's time so he can be treated? I refuse to believe that they died.

Perhaps if your muse returns, William and Buffy could land in Sunnydale (pre-crater, knocking over the sign, of course), where he could be treated. And of course he would get to see the famous Spike! Somehow I think William would like Sunnydale, what with all the biknees...

Author's Response: You are so sweet Ann. It means so much to me that you read the story more than once. I still see so many mistakes in it that when I try to reread it, I can't! I guess that's a problem that some writers have - I certainly have it. But the fact that you like it enough to reread it give me hope and helps me not to give up. Since you like biknees - I'm not sure if you know that there was an auction and someone bid for me to return to the world of William and Elizabeth - so I did a thing of "deleted scenes" once of which features biknees. I forgot to say I LOVED The Oregon Trail game reference! That game was so much fun and I'd play it at school all the time! I don't think there's even a way to win damn thing because you always die. It's insane. You brought me back to good times in the computer room with that reference!

Well well... I'm all sorts of intrigued! Is Billy the William she is now after or is she using him to get to Buffy's William? Oooo! Can't wait to find out! Loved Buffy and William's sexy time! Without knowing it, William got what he's been wanting. A Buffy who loves him and shows it when making love with him! I thought it was funny that she added "by the way" after telling him she loves him. It's so Buffy to keep it light!

Author's Response: Those scenes are hard to write, to be honest. You don't want to cross the line into super-mush. Lucikly, Buffy won't let me do that very often :)

Well I really connected with Buffy this chapter. I also woke up with a hangover and felt just as you described! It sucks. Another few great moments between William and Buffy! I loved when she got jealous on the train! The gift William got her was so amazing! I like how he celebrates that side of her and isn't afraid of it. Finally Buffy realizes she loves him and probably has for a while! Perfect!

Oh Buffy... Mad at William for not taking advantage? Silly girl! Then mad at herself for throwing herself at him. Then upset because she thinks he deserves better. Yet, as always William remains the best guy ever and comforts her through her emotional rollercoaster.

Author's Response: I wanted him to cheat at cards because it is such a Spike thing to do - but I wanted him to do it in a William way. Thus, cheating to lose was born! I used to cheat my ass off to lose at Candyland when playing with little kids :)

What a nice chapter! I like hearing Buffy is cuddling with William at night and she is completely aware and fine with it! They seem well on their way to being happy once again, which makes me wonder how soon your going to bring in the bad to muck things up! Oh yes, I've caught on to your conspiring ways! ;)

I am loving the wealth of knowledge in this story and in the author notes! Fantabulous! My god William is a patient man! I couldn't handle Buffy and her moods, but William does it flawlessly! Plus he does it without backhanding her at every turn! That deserves an award of some sort!

Aww. I'm so glad you dedicated an entire chapter to George's funeral! He deserved it. I am so sad that he is gone, but I loved how caring the rest of the ships passengers were. They attended his funeral and even raised money for his family! Perfect. I love your history bits at the end! They are fascinating and fun to read!

Author's Response: Thanks. Now that I'm writing a book to try to publish, I can't write those and I miss them! Wish published books had footnotes in every chapter! I'd abuse the hell out of that

I know it's just how Buffy is, and you're writing her fantasiclly, but her always being the emotionally distant fruit loop that she is makes me want to strangle her! I like how you touched on the "I'm cookie dough" thing! It's true that her being fully baked is the complete woman, but it's sad even William knows he had her and this Buffy is not there yet. :( Everytime I tell myself "just one more chalter, then I'm going to go be productive today." you suck me with with these little cliffhangers. Dru is outside their room?! Looks like I will be reading on!

Ahahaha! The penis contraption returns! And why he used it was so endearing! lol. I'm so happy to see Buffy falling in love with William, but I hate that they won't have what he and Elizabeth had. Buffy still hasn't said sorry for punching him in the nose and gashing up his temple! And poor Dru! Gosh, I was feeling so bad for her when Warren was adding to her mental torture. Great chapter!

It's so cute watching Buffy fall in love with William all over again! She getting all insecure and protective! Poor William. Trying to take on Dru for the sake of Buffy's safety... I adore him and I wish I had a William! Okay, seriously when I read the Miss Cleo tid bit in the end notes... I got all giddy! When I was a kid I watch The Jenny Jones show all the time in the summer and Miss Cleo would guest appear! She was ridiculous and I loved it!

Author's Response: I have no idea why I remembered Miss Cleo! I had to youtube a bunch of her old stuff just to remember how ridiculous she was :)
