The whole opening paragraph was just brilliant. I hate in stories when someone gets embarrassed, and I think when he doesn't like her outfit, I actually turned red in sympathy.

Author's Response: You know, I think that if she was wearing that in the bedroom (just for him), he would like it plenty. And that, as embarrassing as it was--his telling her that he liked the way she usually dressed was sort of better. Well, I hope it was. That's what I was going for. I mean she got all dressed up in this racy outfit and he said that he actually liked her just the she was, that she didn't have to change for him. Maybe he could have handled it better. He is a boy. :) Thank you. I get embarrassed super easily myself. Maybe putting it in my stories will help me deal with it--like free therapy. That you all read. :)

This story is so cute and really interesting with Spike's awkward accessment of Buffy and Buffy's crush on him. Don't give up Buffy! Next time make him some British goodies, that way he can not dismiss the baked goods so quickly.

What's the age difference between her and Spike?

Alright, what's wrong with him? How could he not be falling for her? I'm falling for her and that doesn't even make any sense. I can't wait to find out what his deal is. I also love this line: "Everyone likes cookies, girl." So simple, yet so hilarious.
