Wow, it feels like I'm watching season 5 all over again. You were perfectly able to transfer their TVseries relationship into this alternative universe! I admire spike so much! Mistake after defeat and he still finds it in himself to get back up and try again. I feel for all the characters here! Except angel and Riley. They suck!

I have gotten so behind on this story! real life caught up to me in a serious way but just read chapters 13-20 and absolutely love em. Really hope Buffy and Spike get together soon though. =] id love to see them working on the show and balancing that and a relationship. itd be so cute! and lots of room for drama. lol

I hope he's not really dating Cordelia. Maybe he thinks if he makes her jelous enough she'll come around. I love that he followed her to Sunnydale.

There were alot of funny lines in this chapter. Buffy's voice was spot on.

Riley is such an asshole! Love that you made his character like that. I'm such a Riley hater. What Spike fan isn't? :-)

Oh boy, Spike is being arrested. Riley being the pussy that he is can't fight his own battles. Buffy needs to stop being so mean to poor Spike... she wouldn't be her if she didn't give him a hard time though.

Buffy always has a hard time seeing whats right in front of her. Spike has changed so much for her and she refuses to see that.

Author's Response: She's got a lot of issues with trust, both trusting herself and trusting other people, so she's finding it pretty difficult to work through that.

Spike just wants to love her and the vamp thing isn't even an issue here. I can understand being afraid of getting hurt though. I don't know what more he is gonna be able to do to get Buffy to give him a real chance.

Author's Response: She is very scared of risking her heart again but don't worry, I have some things planned so Buffy will get a chance to really see Spike and the man he can be. :)
