what exactly did spike do to her that was so bad? that's what i don't get, she's the one who dumped him just because of what he does for a living. she basically treated him like a hooker, and whatever he does in return is probably him just acting out because he was hurt. i honestly don't like buffy here, i can't feel at all sorry for her. i'm wondering why spike even bothers, she's always going to be judgmental.

Author's Response: There's still more to come from the past in flashback form. In this story Buffy's always been pampered and pandered to by everyone and she feels like she's got the pressure of the whole world on her shoulders, which is partly why she's so judgmental. She's still got some way to go on her character journey, so hopefully she will redeem herself before the end. :)

I liked getting a look of their past. Spike really did hurt Buffy bad. I'm glad it still haunts him. Buffy puking on him was funny. He sort of deserved it.
