Author's Response: Hmm, what might buffy do in this situation? It could go one of two ways: Either she shuns him because she's afraid of yet one more thing changing in her life OR she accepts him because he has been there for her with her issues.

I like it a lot! Just a couple things. In one place you mention it's 10 pm and then you say it's 9pm. Also the boo radley reference from gg is actually originally from to kill a mockingbird ;)

. But Spike... He showed her it was okay. A little danger could leave you with gifts wrapped in black leather. Great line. I love how she has allowed herself to lean on him. That is a huge step for her. I love this story so much. And I love jealous Spike. Can't wait for the next update

I don't know how I missed this story before, but it is wonderful. I love how when it starts you assume it is all human, then you discover that Spike is a vampire, then more and more. I've a feeling Buffy will end up the slayer.
