Fun concept to introduce a mature Buffy and a Spike living for himself. You've written both characters well and I can picture the banter back and forth between them. After getting things out in the open, the next chapter should deepen the tension or ? Good work

Great chapter! I really like how Buffy is mature and Spike is holding on to his...independence? I don't know what word to call it. I like how its him holding back and setting limits.

They're both older and wiser. I've thought a lot about what Buffy would be like as she's hitting her 30s. I suspect the options are mature or institutionalised. ;) Thanks for reviewing!
