I am positively giddy from the confrontation between Eve and Buffy! I can't wait for more! Hurry, hurry PLEASE!

Be warned.. I read the story before I went to bed last evening and started to write my comment this morning. I fear it will get long again :) But the story is so hard to read more me I wait a bit till I comment. Getting too emotional about it isn't good ;-) This was my text:
I saw the update yesterday evening just before I wanted to go to bed and took a short look. I didn't want to review / send you a comment *out of the heat of the moment* because this story makes me emotional at the moment.. .. .. *sigh*
So Spike was there too but he brought Eve with him. I wonder if someone told him Buffy would be there / would bring a date with her and he thought he needed the ‘protection’ for himself not to do something stupid. Yes, let’s hope for that :) I mean that this was the reason he brought Eve this time. There are some sad lines in it (= lines that makes me sad) like: He's a complete stranger to me but ones like for one thing, he didn't think he'd like the answers he got (Wood) I loved. I’m glad that he thinks it. Because I hope (that lets me hope) that we won’t see a lot of him around Buffy. *crosses fingers* Well I can hope, right? :) ~ The scene with Buffy and Spike talking again was very moving, emotional wise. When I read I properly instead of only skipping it even more. Very good written… Spike stayed away from home (family home) because of Buffy. Must be right because these two never met again before. That are the problems when you have the same fam-ily and a bad break up. I wonder if Buffy is right though and Eve was there before because it seems as if Joyce knows her (the hug). Or if Eve is simply a good actress. And now the truth is out, Buffy told Spike why she did what she thought she had to do (without letting him decide it too). I’m very glad that Spike knows now. Espe-cially Buffy’s reason to break up, to protect him. He had his own problems back then (his insecurity, his drink-ing). I hope he’s better now, regarding this, in order to give him and Buffy a better chance now. What did hurt? To be told to be loved, past tense. *sigh* Yeah I didn’t want the story to end here so you couldn’t make it all right here. Would be too easy. … I know. .. But because I know now that Spike knows now why Buffy did break up with him, I hope he’ll do something about it. Like fight for Buffy (including kicking Eve out now.) Well a girl can dream :-D
And then Buffy had to run into Eve of all people. She, Eve, is a real bitch. How she spoke to Buffy! She (Eve) thinks she’s better than her, huh? Eve was really mean to Buffy. I could scratch Eve’s eyes out (though I won’t do it). So nasty… Good that Buffy found the reason why she did it. And it is very probably that she is right! Eve is insecure about how Spike belongs to her. Seems not all is well there *hopes very hard it is the case*
YAY for Buffy! She showed her own claws *gg* Loved how she ‘got back’ to Eve without hurting her bodily like Eve did (nails). Love the catfight because I think Buffy won *big smile*. Oh I wish Spike would have witnessed how mean Eve was.
But where do we go from here?
So I’m looking forward to the next part(s), silly hoping it will be better then. Oh I know it will take some time to make it better in the right way. Sorry when I say it but I hope we have seen the last of Eve and Wood now. I know we won’t but I can hope right?
Loved the chapter! For the truth that came out and Buffy winning the catfight. But it was good anyway. Loved it :-D This is rather long now.. seems it happens when I write offline :)

Are you going to have Willow or Anya or Xander enter the story again? Buffy was friends with them before she and Spike moved to Cali. I'm just wondering if Buffy stayed in touch with them all this time?

Author's Response: She did keep in touch with them, but I'm not sure if they're going to make an actual appearance in the story ot not.

So Eve showed after all. Damn. The end scene with Buffy and Eve is classic. CLASSIC. I love that Buffy outsnarked Eve; like most others here, I'm not a fan of canon Eve. I'm so glad the truth about what went down with Quentin Travers came to light, and I hope that, now that real communication is starting between the two again, things will start to work out between them. One chapter with her actually appearing, and I'm ready for Eve the Viper to be gone, but I just know poor Robin's going to get hurt.

Nice to see Buffy finally "grew a pair" and went toe to toe with Eve. Maybe she has matured during the past three years since running cowardly from Spike. Poor guy waits 3 years for the real explanation to surface. I am hoping the torture is almost over for us fans here and we are close to some making up for lost time with this formerly cool couple. Great chapter!!! Here's hoping and praying you update soon ... thanks!!

This chapter was wonderful. I loved Buffy and Eve's confritation. Can't wait to read more.

It took 3 years to find out what the catalyst was and now Spike knows, will he confront QT I wonder. Great updates. more please (cause I really need for Eve to be all pissed and end up humiliated before you are done).

Also, I'd like to see a scene where we get Joyce and Giles' perpectives on this mess. We already know how Dawn feels, so I really, really, want to know what the parents say.

I see the light at the end of the tunnel - thank god . Oh how I wish Spike would have seen that interaction between his 2 women. Now that Spike knows the truth, I sincerely hope it won't be too long before he dumps Eve and tries to get Buffy back. After all, 3 years is a long time, plus I can't wait either. Stupendous job sweety, please update soon.

great , so now he knows , please don't make Buffy pull the denial routine about them getting back together, and i hope Spike caught that whole thing between Eve and Buffy i would like to see both her and Wood gone very soon. Thanks for writing yur great .

Jeez, he picked a real winner with that one. I wonder why she suddenly decided to show up. I think she is worried about Buffy stealing Spike, such a shame. I'm glad that Spike finally knows the truth, and that Buffy told the bitch off. I would just feel so much better if Buffy was with a jerk. Robin seems like a nice guy and I wouldn't want him to get hurt, but we know she's bound to end up with Spike. Maybe he can find someone else to take his mind off of Buffy. Anyway, can't wait to see what happens next=)
