Well, I wanted to know how Spike was going to handle it...what he would say to Mo, and the band, and Travers. We got Buffy's side of the leaving, but we didn't get Spike's.

3 years? Geeze...not even Christmas cards? They still share the same family. And what did the family think of them breaking up? Giles and Dawn would definitely have a lot to say. I think Joyce would pretty much stay out of it, for the sake of not over-stepping the bounds of her new truce with Buffy.

I have no problem with Robin, but I don't see him and Buffy clicking at all, relationship-wise. Just doesn't fit. And I noticed she's blonde again. What made her take the sunny change?
Good convo with Amanda...that was really helpful. Too bad Buffy is cluless when it comes to keeping a boyfriend.

I bet Spike and the actress is just a publicity stunt by Travers- it would be in character.

Anyway, I hope they meet again soon- and I hope Buffy stops whining. She made the decision to dump him without even talking about things fist, and I think she more than deserves to suffer. Spike definitely had issues, but she's the one who ended it. Plus I really really hate people who do something horrible and then say it was all for someone else.

Anyway, keep up the good work, and I'm glad you skipped the 3 years, if it was all going to be angst. This story really is going on a lot longer than I thought it would...

I, for one, appreciate the three yer time jump, not for the fact that I don't want to read ten chapters of sob (not that I do, but you know), it just seems right. I can't explain it, haha. But anyway. I really like how this chapter is going and appreciate that you're one of the authors that will finish a story no matter what! Thanks, good update, and can't wait for the next chapter!

Thanks for the time jump and no I don't think I could handle the heartbreak any longer,though I would if you were writing it. Anyways, great chapter. I like how Buffy has made something of herself. Now to just get her and Spike in the same room...hmmmmmmmm I will keep waiting to read .

I can understand "the jump", but oh my !!! I am hoping something changes for our duo. I still want to smack them both in the head. I am just feeling sad for them, especially Buffy at this point. I for one truly appreciate the time jump - I have no desire to read chapter after chapter of heart broken sobbing buffy or drunken, heart broken pitiful spike so time jump away. And as far as chaps? You keep writing them and I'll keep reading them. As for the last couple of chaps- Personally I think Buffy was wrong, her motives may have been noble, but what she did was totally wrong for her and for Spike. And I don't believe that Spike has moved on as much as Buffy thinks he has, but I'm sure you'll fill us in on all that you have planned for our fav couple. Thanks for the great tale so far. Looking forward to more. (Oh and can Quentin Travers get hit by a bus or have a piece of satelite fall on him and kill him or something? I know he wasn't in the tale too much, but he started this whole "you'll hurt his career" thing and I think he needs to pay. I actually think the time jump works. I'm glad you didn't have them break up for a week and then get back together, because then nothing would have really changed.... anyway, I'm looking forward to more!

well, this is disappointing. i didn't think you would have skipped ahead three years. i was hoping they would have realized how stupid they were right away. i should have known that i couldn't expect it to be happy. i have to say, not liking the idea of them both being with someone else and i'm thinking this might be my last chapter. the non-spuffy is just too upsetting for me and i'm not patient to wait for it, but i don't know how this could end happily.

Author's Response: There's going to be a happy ending. I've said that several times now. Furthermore, the "non-Spuffy" is minor. Just chill out a bit, and have a little patience. I promised happy and it'll get happy. Relax.
