Oooooh, this is so not going well. Spike's right but going about it in the wrong way - at least to me, and Buffy could have told him what she originally planned before he didn't come home that first night. I just got a bad feeling there's more drinking ahead, and seriously worried for Buffy and if she makes a good decision about what just happened. Please post soon, the cliffies are making me sit on the edge of my seat.

Ouch...that sure didn't go well. It seems nothing is the same at the moment. I'm really curious to see how this will turn out. Will they continue to fight, make up, or finally call it quits? At this point, I have no clue. I can't wait to see what else you have planned for my favorite couple. Update soon please!

Spike's right..As wrong as he was in the beginning..and as much as he hurt her by not coming home that night..Buffy did not handle it like she should.. There was nothing wrong with going to her Mom's house..but she should have resolved their argument before she took off. Also..turning off her phone was NOT a good move. Buffy is being "avoido girl"... Not sure about the Spike's idea that he is always automatically the bad guy..but I am crossing my fingers that they can pull out of this! Great update ; )

Yeah, fights aren't resolved until all the feelings are hashed out. You can't just say "okay" and be "okay".

And he's right about her avoidance. She could have text messaged him back, if she didn't feel she could talk.

The hurt comes from how your actions are perceived, no matter what your intention or thought was.

Hmmm... well at least some of the things are coming out in the open though, and they can try working on them! Great chapter!! Loved it!

I like that they didn't just kiss and make-up, it makes them more real characters if their problems have dimensions. I'm with spike, buffy just ran away from their fight and that was wrong and she knew it. He hurt her and she hurt him right back. looking forward to the next chapter!

Oh, God. This is bad isn't it? I don't want them to break up, Addie. Spike dragged Buffy to the other side of the country (yes, it was her idea to go, but what other choice did she have?) and if they break up, she'll basically be stranded there. No support system, nothing. Spike has a point, Bussy made a shitty choice on how she left, but she'd been basically abandoned emotionally and physically those couple of days. I probably would have wanted out too. I hope they can work through this. And if they do break-up, can you make a short one (that's the only time I'll ask for a favor of you as a writer !)? I can't wait for more.

I have no idea what the drama of Tuesday and Wednesday was or is but I wanted to tell you that I LOVE this story. Its not all hearts and flowers but its like real life. Real life is hard work and its confusing and you are doing a great job of capturing that in this fic.

I appreciate the way you have Oz giving sage advice to Spike. At least with Spike willing to communicate, they can work through a lot of their stuff. I also like how Joyce is reaching out to Buffy. With the pressure off in a couple of areas, I have faith that despite the angst, they'll conquer their "stuff" together. And Spike, my boy-- don't you know it's never a good sign when you "need" a drink. Only drink when you "want" a drink, but don't need it! I think everyone will be jumping back on the "hooray" band-wagon. You did a nice job of keeping the tone a little lighter, while not magically resolving all of the foils to their relationship. Now if Spike can gather his courage and tell Buffy about how his insecurities are fueling his behavior-- Good work. I'm glad you came back so strong in this chapter-- Don't let any feedback get you down. I understand your need to defend your "baby," but trust me, the work speaks for itself. No defense needed!
