how cute. spike's all with the jealousy. buffy is right. some jealousy some of the time is hot and sexy, but too much all of the time is just too annoying for words. i hope joyce comes out of this okay. it would suck on so many levels. not just for the girls, but for giles. i mean, his first wife died and then to have his second wife die too? that's just too sad for words. i hope things get better for buffy and joyce. joyce needs to prove to buffy that it wasn't just her illness that had her apologizing.

Well Joyce didn't die, and those situations are seldom fixed in one simple surgery, so I like this option of her being mostly better. After all, if she was completely cured, we would have to leave the hospital and the whole Ben situation. Loved how Spike considered himself merciful for letting him live. Great chapter. Looking forward to the next update.

Buffy just seemed to freak out for a minute there. Despite Spike's fears and jealousy..Ben taking the time to explain things about Joyce's condition was helpful..

Funny..all this time I have been worried about Spike being tempted and what that could mean for Buffy..It's kind of neat how you took it from a different angle and made Spike the extremely jealous one..though it's obvious he has nothing to worry about ..

Spike is right.. Ben was there because he wanted to talk to Buffy. If he wanted news about Joyce he could have checked her (how is this called? her file). But Buffy doesn't see it this way, she even didn't notice Ben in that way. Spike doesn't have to worry about her. Too bad they started to argue about that topic. They should talk for one and all about it when Buffy is calm as is Spike. Too much stress now because of Joyce. ~ Oh they did. Awe :) Spike really loves her, needs her too. (I had no doubt about it). Therefore he reacted that way. ~ And now Joyce big day... the surgery. Looking forward to the next chapter.
