Just read last few chapters and wrote a review which seemed to get lost in the ether somewhere. Love the update and so happy ~Spike now knows why Buffy left him and that he has made a move to talk to her. Thought your skipping over the last 3 years in detail good way to progress the story especially with what happened to Spike. Also like that Eve was such a bitch to Buffy and she put her down so well. Cant see her lasting long if Spike hears that sort of behaviour.

This chapter was as perfect as perfect chapters go. They got everythin out in the open without resorting to cattiness and low blows...(I personally don't consider his comment about Eve as a low blow, because his tone never made it seem like it was supposed to be)...and they actually came out of that converasation closer then they have been in 3 years. I do foresee many phone calls like that in their future...this chapter gave me hope for them.

Also, I was glad to see Spike have a pair. Its good he learned to live without her, cause thats just unhealthy..(as we saw with how he dealt with their break up)...he should want to be with her above all else, not need to be with her cause there is nothing else. (hope that made sense)

i been reading other reviews and have to remind some that Spike only just found out why they split up, he spent three years thinking Buffy no longer wanted him, of course he tries to move on. Buffy on the other hand is delusional,have her fix things with Spike after all she's the one that broke everything ,let her take a chance and grow up, with this step sibling nonsense . Addie once again your the greatest, and you know i want Woods and Eve gone sooner,like maybe next chapter? please , make Buffy wake up..

Talk about a low blow - Spike getting in the dig about letting Buffy know he is over her and has moved on wasn't good enough - He had to let her know that he just had sex with Eve and that she is asleep in his bed. What a vengeful dig. I think he is still a litle angry at Buffy perhaps? Or perhaps he thinks she is doing the same thing with Robin and wanted to let her know he was just as over her? Hmmm. At least Buffy's "boyfriend" is a decent human being. Not sure what Spike's doing wih Eve.

loved it. loved it LOVED IT!!! i never really thought about buffy being ashamed of what she and spike had. even it was just a little. i just figured that she cared a little too much about what others thought about her and what she did. i never really thought she was ashamed. she never even really tried to fix things with spike. i mean, yeah, they had their problems but problems they could fix. the whole famous thing (messing up his career) that shouldn't have mattered to her. i mean, if she loved him then tabloids be damned! i would have rather her left spike over his drinking and their problems than the career stuff. anyway, great AMAZING job. loved it sooooo much. post soon, k?

Wait a minute. Spike is with that bitch Eve on purpose? I just assumed he got with her for a publicity stunt that Travers initiated. To tell the truth, this does lower my opinion of Spike. What is he thinking being with a pretentious bitch like Eve? Thinks he can't get any better? Blind to her true nature because of her many "charms"? The company you keep speaks volumes about you - Buffy is at least with a nice man. Not sure what Spike is doing.

This story has me completely mesmerised. I only discovered it on recommendation last night and I'm so grateful despite the serious lack of sleep. The characterization is brilliant; I can hear them perfectly in my mind. And God, can I feel their pain. Thank you for this; I'm living for the next update!

Wow! Away from the computer for just over a week, and the plot has certainly thickened in the three years that have fictionally passed. The breakup was believable and painful, but not as painful as Buffy alone in her apartment watching Spike's great life unfold on her television screen. Way to bring on the angst and keep me coming back for more. The confronations at Giles' party were both extremely well written. Now the truth is out about the breakup, what is Spike going to do? Buffy standing up for herself with Eve was brilliant. I thought the actress would completely deflate Buffy after the intense conversation with Spike, but you took me by surprise. Brilliant stuff! I can't wait to read more.

Wow! This was exactly as I had imagined it to be! It was obvious that Buffy's and Spike's reunion would be explosive, and it really was. How hurting must he still be, if he becomes mad like this... If he had already gotten over it, he wouldn't have said all these things. Poor two..

I just loved Buffy's little monologue at the end of this chapter. She found perfect words to awake feelings of insecurity in this moron Eve Hart. Great, she didn't just ran away from her!

There's so much tension right now, I can't wait to read on. Man, I love this fic! ;)

hm... i read your author's note a few chapters back, and i just wanted to say this... "screw them". Fanfiction's a hobby... and you're supposed to have fun with it. If some people don't like your work, ignore them. If they don't have anything better to do with their time than send you emails flaming you or writing you horrible reviews, then they're obviously not worth fretting over.

Personally,.. i don't mind bad reviews, because a review's supposed to make you see other viewpoints on your story.. and if someone thinks they can do better, than good for them. what i DO mind is personal attacks, because that's just fucking immature.

but keep your head up and don't let flamers interfere with something you enjoy!! because if you do, then they're the ones who win.
