Gah! OMG. You're doing it to me again. I hope you get enough reviews to update again today. I know it's very close to Chirstmas, but PLEASE! My mantra for the day: Please don't let Angel be her boyfriend, please don't let Angel be her boyfriend. I'm thinking maybe he's not, though. Wouldn't Willow have known about him? And if so, why would she propose that Buffy and Spike pick up where they left off? Unless she hates Angel, of course. Hmmmm, curious. Great story!

OMG, you're breaking my heart! oh man, i knew Spike deserved a little something back for hurting Buffy and not caring about his child, but this is harsh. *sigh* i know, you'll fix it in the end, it's just hard going through the tough stuff first. very interesting turn of events. i'm glad you chose to use Angel and NOT Riley (gag, cough, splutter). i at least have some respect for Angel's character, no matter what incarnation he takes. wonderful angsty chapter! Oh, hell no! You have to be kidding me. She's dating Angel? This is really making me lose hope that they are ever gonna get together. I have to say that Buffy is starting to annoy me in this story. I mean it's obvious she still loves him and Spike is really trying here. She should just suck it up and start over with him. They do have a kid together so nothing could really work with her and anyone else. That's what I think anyway. Well, I'm gonna keep reading this because I wanna see what happens and I'm still hoping that they would get together soon. I guess I'm a person that likes the happier Spuffy. Not really a big fan of the angst. I happen to think there's enough of that in the world. Well, hope I wasn't too harsh, still like it and all and I'm still hoping that things will be okay with them and that Spike at least would get to see his son.
Author's Response: Nope, not too harsh at all. Actually it was kind of a relief to see that someone isn't happy with Buffy (you wouldn't believe how many are ganging up on Spike in this story) and everyone forgets that it was Buffy who ran away and took his child. Anyway, don't lose hope- and if you've read my other stories you know it takes a while to get to the happiness, but that makes it all worth while, right? Thanks for reviewing :-)

Wow...I just got caught up with the last 3 chapters since that jaw dropping cliffhanger/admission by Buffy. So glad that you're fast forwarding to the future. oh man, the angst continues! such longing, such resentment, such fear. it just jumps out at me. i can't believe that they can both be so frustratingly stubborn. gah! they both deserve each other, need each other, but are just too stupid to realize it. i just hope that Spike has re-prioritized his life and will now put Buffy and Michael first. great chapter! great angst! you're breaking my heart, but i will persevere!

Whew! Those were some packed chapters. I finally caught up with the last 3 chapters and I feel like I was holding my breath the entire time. Dang. it was definitely disheartening to see Spike's reaction, but I guess you're right, he always does the right thing. It will be interesting to see how he will be able to recover from this consider his character can definitely be an asshole a lot of the times. Please update soon! I can barely stand the suspense!
