Hey, whatever. I say it's fine to change the characters name. Elizabeth/Lizzie, same thing. But, one thing that gets my blood boiling as well is when people spell Drusilla wrong. God! Get it through your head that it is D-R-U-S-I-L-L-A. There is NO C. Sorry, I just thought I was the only person that got pissed off by that. So far, good story. The grammar needs some work, and I really hope it doesn't follow exactly the same plot of Jawbreaker. But, it's cool.

i just wanna say that, there is a difference between using a wrong name for Buffy and a false name for Spike. Of course Spike has a last name, but it happens that nobody knows it. Therefore in AU, it is necessary to makeup a surname, which is why many people make him the son of either ethan or Giles, as they are all english it makes it more plausible. Whereas to change Buffy's name in a sense changes the character. Lots of people use Elizabeth and that's fine, it's the writers perrogative, but it is understandble why some people are annoyed by it. But when you talk about technicalities with Spike's name, take into account that it is neccessaery to give him a last name. It is not neccessary to change Buffy';s name. Don't get me wrong, this is not meant to insult you or to be a flame, i just wanted to point out where some other people might be coming from. But it is your choice how you want to do your story. I respect that. I just wanted to explain how some people might think.

I'm sorry you took my comment so badly. I didn't mean to start anything. That's all it was though, a general comment on given names, not a critic of the story. Sorry it made you overlook the rest of my review that said that I actually enjoyed your story. I should have kept my mouth shut, about all this, and I will from now on. You got me to rewatch Jawbreaker today lol. I LOVE that movie. It's so awesome. I think Buffy would have been more suited to play the part of Julie though, but I guess the part of Vylet was more interesting, what with the make over and all that. And I was reading your reviews and I can't help but add to Taiora's review: Buffy being called Elizabeth in AU fics is a big pet peeve of mine too. Why does everybody think Elizabeth is Buffy's real name? Buffy IS a name, it's not short for Elizabeth, it's derivative. There's like 20 derivatives of Elizabeth, including Isabel. Doesn't mean Elizabeth is my given name. But so many people do it, I'll just have to forgive you the way I forgave so many others for the sake of a good story. That's in no way a critic of your fic, girls. Just making a point, is all. I love your fic so far and can't wait to read more.

The grammar is little off and the timeline got me really confused. First they killed Cordy and then they killed her again? I guessed there was flashbacks, but they got mer eally confused. But I like the plot and I believe that this could really be a great fic.

"Jawbreaker" is one of the BEST movies around, and it's so awesome that Darla in the story is Julie Benz's character from the movie:) Great job, and I can't wait to read more!
