Author's Response: The story doesn't follow with the canon. Spike's feelings develop much more subtly, instead of being slammed into him by a dream, but I hope I keep a steady amount of sexual tension between them for a while. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Really, where do you come up with these ideas? They are so creative. It's like you have a whole bag of tricks you are just waiting to unleash on us poor, unsuspecting (yet very eager) readers. :)
Author's Response: I have no idea LOL! This one actually came to me after I re-read "Walking After Midnight" and "Love is Blind" and I realized that there wasn't a story where Buffy is deaf. In general, my ideas come from fairly mundane things that I do everyday. Thank you for reviewing!
