Good job the characters are deep and particular and anyone has a special personal story. You have to work on sex scenes cause they aren't at the dame level of the parts of the story

Lol.. Spike looking up and down when eulogising Holden is too cute! I'm new to the site and I found this story today and gobbled every chapter at one go so sorry for the lack of reviews from me. Love the mystery but especially the Spuffy interaction. Kudos to you :)

Hate to say this but damn even I could come up with reasonable doubt in this case. The only thing they have is that Amy was placed at the scene of the crime close to the time of the death of the victims. I know that the American justice system is ficle but damn even a half assed lawyer would be able to blow Angels case out of the water. You really need to punch up the evidence part of the story to make it belivable. I'm having fun reading the love part between Spike and Buffy but I find myself giggling at the whole crime thing, feels more like the cops in sunnydale just arrests the person closest to the crime scene when there is a murder and then charge them with it.

Maybe there is evidence and you just haven't bothered to mention it but still if you make some sort of suspense/thriller/cop drama all those things are really important to make it belivable.

Hmm not to nit pick or anything but I have yet to hear any real evidence that would make it an open and shut case as to Amy being the killer. I mean her being close to the crime seen at the time of the murder is hardly what I would call conclusive. What happened to the video surveilance? Is Warren even telling the truth? Where is the murder weapon? How come no body seemed to have heard anything? What about other physical evidence?

You really need to start dealing with this stuff cause it really makes Spikes accusations about the SunnyD PD being completly incompetent very true. Gut feelings and shit like that don't make a case, evidence do. Nobody seems to have intetogated Amy or anybody else that would have been in the building or lived there. It all feels like really bad police work.

Author's Response: Good catch! Yes, I am totally backing Spike's 'Sunnydale PD' inaccuracy! Remember how in the first seasons of BTVS; the Sunnydale PD kept passing everything off as 'Bikers on PCP?!' That's why I think Joss threw that plot line in there in the beginning of Season 6. Anyway, truthfully this story is completed and it is not a short one. As times goes on things will become clearer where Amy is concerned but muddled where people Buffy thought she could trust. Spike and Buffy are destined for each other in this fic and soon, if you keep reading, there will be a major twist in the plot line! I hope you like it. spuf

‘Thank God for sensible females!' Isn't that the truth :-) Although, in my family it's sensible males, but that's another story. Great chapter- I love how Buffy smuggled Winston into the hospital.
