Wanted to let you know that I adored this story ! Very original way of portraying Buffy and Spike relationship. Beautiful thoughtful writing , and I just loved immensely Spike's struggle to become completely the man Buffy deserved.. Giles and Jenny were perfectly believable , and I enjoyed every scene , from the first chapter to the last ( adorable ending ) . Some love scenes just perfect , hot and tender ( I can't believe you don't like writing them : they were great , and somehow we need to read about our spuffy couple sexcapades.. don't you think? They defined them , too.. ) Anyway , it was a fantastic story , one of my favorite here!

Sorry you didn't see any reviews from me with the last three chapters. I had to play catch up again. I truly enjoyed your story and the ending as well. I don't mind reading a long fic as long as it good. As the writer I think you should write how you want the story to go, you can't please every body. Again, excellent story. Now I need to check out your other ones.

Well, I've enjoyed reading this right up til now, but the ending seemed kind of rushed and forced, a little too perfect and 'they all lived happily ever after in perfect love tralalala' for me. I know a lot of people like those kinds of quick and perfect happy endings so I guess it's just me, I'm sure there are many of your readers who won't have that problem with it. Thank you for sharing the story with us and keeping it updated frequently. I've enjoyed the trip and again, thanks!

Author's Response: Mac, I rushed into work (raining!) to see your review and be able to respond to all of them. I can at work but not at home? Anyway I had a feeling you would probably feel this way...are you related to pj? Kidding. Seriously, I wrote this story a while back just after I wrote my first real fan fic. It's titled Buffy's Revenge; Sunnydale Style. I learned a little something from writing that story... 1st Sometimes, no matter how naughty you write Spike in fics? Alot of folks don't like this. They love him no matter what (I'm kind of like this) 2nd I tend to write fics that are wayyyyy too long and people begin to lose interest. 3rd I had fully intended on beginning a sequel to this, however I got caught up in even another fic 'Stake Your Claim' Whoosh! Anyway, I would actually love to write these fics in 'novel' form and have them go on forever, but alas.... Actually, I always felt like I cheated the readers on this one, because...I didn't make it angstsy enough and I wrote Spike a little less 'aggressive' then I intended. In my fic BRSS, I am more realistic with Spike's character and yes, Buffy is even a bit naughty in that one. I would submit it here (it's like my first fic) but alot of folks disliked the way I wrote Spike and Buffy. Thank you for your honesty. Luv, spuf
