Hmmm, sure took Joyce long enough.....and Buffy slept with a man he had no feelings for, using him for 3 months. If I was Spike I'd be a man an confront the slut.....since she was going to trap him with some other man's baby.....I just don't see Spike as a hide behind mommy's skirts......I see Spike storming out the door and telling Harmony it's over...and demand the DNA test himself.......I would've had figured they'd be married by now.....before she was big as a house, so the baby would be born in wedlock and not so obvious is about the pregnancy

But you guessed right: I didn't like the chaper.
I didn't hate it - it's only because of throwing Buffy together with Angel. And the announcement, that Spike won't go to get Buffy (in Paris) doesn't help either. :-)
Really hope it will be better soon - after some more chapters.

I normally don't care for B/A, even when it is necessary, but with this story, I am not caring so much. I don't think this Buffy will convince herself she is in love with him, so not a problem. Oh, and Spike needs to grow a pair. Letting the woman you love feel like a whore and leave so you can engage in some misguided attempt at "doing the right thing" is cowardly and stupid. Sorry for the rant, but the whole, "must get married" instead of making an adult decision really puhes my buttons.
