Sniff, sniff... I am assuming that Spike broke it off with Drusilla (I hope, I hope!) Anyway, that's good, best for him to end it and then try and win back Buffy. Interesting, Spike hurt Buffy back then, but he did break it off first, so I guess that's saying something for our boy. I still think that Angel and Dru are doing the nasty together, but whatever, they deserve each other. Great story and chapter! Luv, Spuf

So did he finally dump dru? Still think he should have done that a LONG time ago, and frankly, he's still a creep. I hate to see Buffy suddenly so dependant- what I'd really like to see is her confident and happy without spike- maybe then they could get back together, but right now, I seriously doubt that he loves her so much as he wants to 'control' her or 'fix' her... anyways, it's a really great story and I can't wait for more.

I have to agree with Danille and Raspy-luv. Spike is totally acting like Dru doesn't exist just like he did with Buffy when he started up with Dru. Now if he broke up with Dru then started after Buffy..maybe not so bad. He's trying to have his cake and eat it to and I'm so tired of it. Now Buffy is going to find out Angelus is cheating on her no doubt with Dru and you have two guys who have cheated on her within a years time. Of course Buffy is going to think something is wrong with her because her men can't stay faithful...poor thing. I guess she'll just wind up with Faith. Maybe she'll have better luck. I agree with Raspy-luv. In my opinion, there really isn't any redeeming of Spike in this story, I've officially decided I don't want Spike to get back with Buffy. He's just a two-timing jerk and I'd prefer Buffy with someone at least nice who actually does love Buffy. The fact that he is cheating on Dru (even though she deserves it) and his line, "Taking back what's mine" just proves that he is an ass and doesn't really care about anybody but himself. I'm rooting for her to meet someone in college that will become her true love.

I thought there may be redemption for his actions, but I'm over it now. There are going to have to be some amazing tricks pulled for me to buy that he deserves any kind of forgiveness. He is a disrespectful asshole who only has his wants and desires in mind. No matter what he says, he doesn't truly care about Buffy. If he had split up with Dru and shown up at the dance alone, I would have a different opinon. It won't help any when he gets hurt because Dru cheats on him (and I'm just speculating here) with Angelus. In this story, Spike is a sack of shit.

Let me get this straight: Spike wants Buffy back, but he's still with Dru? What a douchebag! If he really wanted Buffy back, he would have dumped Dru by now. I'm with Kimber on this one. Free Mr. Gordo! Buffy and Dru need to hit Spike in the crotch with a hammer!
