So, now Spike is going behind Dru's back and being extremely nice to and spending time with Buffy? He is just an ass. Period. I'm at the point that unless Spike breaks up with Dru first on his own (before Dru cheats on him or before Dru breaks up with him) then I don't want Buffy to take him back. Spike has to grow up and figure out what he wants.

Huh, It seemed awfully suspicious that Dru left at the same time that Angelus did. Excellent chapter. I just love to read Spike realizing what he's lost. More please.

I love this! When I first started reading it I was like "oh great, Spikes good cheat on her, and Im gonna hate him (which I do btw) and the storys gonna be lame" BUT you surprised me and you totally pulled it off without it sounding stupid. Bravo ps I dont like your Spike though.....I ALMOST find my self hoping they dont get together....he just such and ass...BUT LOVE your story

Spike just keeps getting dumber in each chapter. Does he really think Dru will just let him spend time alone with his ex-girlfriend? Why in the world would he think that Buffy would want to spend any time with him after what he's done to her? Boy, does he have a lot of growing up to do.

Finally Spike realized that he's still in love with Buffy (about time! *lol*) I really hope he'll dump that stupid bint as soon as possible..... Aww poor Buffy! Angelus is cheating on her..... Awesome chapter! Well done girls...this is a great fic :) Keep up the good work

This is great. Buffy is not caving. This story doesn't seem like it will be too dark, but iIt would be very interesting to see buffy travel down a very dark path and Spike, knowing that he pushed her there, tries desperately to bring her back. Perhaps for another story, eh? Great job on this story. You have me begging for more!

Man! What is up with Spike?!? Make up your mind already!...He can't keep jumping around between two girls...I wish Spike found out Dru is cheating on him or broke up with him because she is now bored and doesn't think he's as good as she thought...then he have to crawl on his knees beg for Buffy but it'll be hell before she except him again...mwahahahah (evil laugh)...Great job on the fic...it certainly bring out the vengence demon in me...keep it up!!

longgggg redemption for Spike, I hope! He's been a total jerk and it's his fault she's dating Angel! Ugh! The angst is wonderful - you know I love it :) I'm just glad that you guys are faster than I am and smarter in writing the fic first so that I don't have to wait an entire week, lol. I think so far, this is my favorite fic from both of you, and each of you separately! Keep up the angst and the great work!

I re-read the whole story, all through this last chapter. I'm going to review again and maybe add a little input. It's funny you should post this chapter today, after Friday, at my job, that is and something a guy (middle aged) a co-worker of mine, for years, told my buddy and myself. For some reason, this guy, he relayed a personal story from some years before this. I think I had mentioned your fic to him and my buddy at lunch or something, but anyway... 'Guy' (we'll call him, 'Guy') told my buddy and me this: He left his wife some years before, for a woman, younger then them, that he 'thought' at the time was the better deal, the upgrade, I guess you'd say. Anyway, they moved in together and 'big surprise' he realized he couldn't stand the bitca. He had left his wife, because he couldn't just cheat on her with this woman behind her back. He was trying to be honest and up front (stupid, to leave wifey, of course, but at least honest, I guess). Anyway, 'Guy' went on to tell me and my bud that the first time 'the new squeeze' yelled at him, called him something, I don't know what, she asked him, what the hell do you think your're going to do about my bitching at you? You know what he did (this is the pay off): He left her, that day, packed up his bags, found a hotel room and then went home to 'talk' to his wife. He begged, pleaded, with his tail between his legs (his words) and promised to never 'stray' again from wifey. They've been married now for 26 years. It 'can' happen, honest. Luv, Spuf
