It looks like Buffy is about to get hurt again. =( I really hope not though, it doesn't seem like her heart is too into it. And she and William/Spike really need to have a long talk...I'd like to see them try to be friends (before the spuffiness).

That's so sweet - not! Now Spike decides that he still loves Buffy after all these monthes when he's been with Dru! God - he really needs to get over himself already! And what's the deal with Angel? I hope that Buffy will find out about him & Darla soon, so that they don't carry on for too long! And as always, I can't wait for Spike to ditch Dru! Keep it up- I'm totally loving this fic!!

Hi girls, just wanted to say I'm a big fan of both your works. I was a bit suspicious of this story back in the second chapter when Spike broke up with Buffy so abruptly (after three years, if they were such a confident couple, I figure it would have taken a lot more than a couple of glances and winks to shake that foundation). But I have been following the story and I absolutely love how it's turning out. I hope it takes a while for the two of them to get back together; lots of long talks and tears and angst. This story hits really close to home and I'd like to see both of them grow and be stronger before they eventually return to each other.

Buffy became losey goosey, drinking under age to the point of going to bed with a stranger, dressing like a hooker, under the influnce of Faith, but is she her own woman.....NO! and by the looks of it going to be hit in the gut with another asshole of a guy.......I just hope she does not lose her heart to him, for she does not deserve that again, nor the humilation that could come from dating a ass like Angelus.....I know a few of those guys and have seen the women they have broken with the insincere bull crap......bastards...him and Spike are dirty bastards...LOL! Sorry to see she did this, it speaks highly of her poor self esteem.....I'm sorry that William's betrayal had such a effect that she went down this road of poor decision making.....and I do have to agree with Spike, you shouldn't be with a man cause he wants too when your gut is telling you by instinct to run as fast as you can from him......I hope she realized by what she saw in the mirror is what people who used to respect her might view her as.....she has taken a page out of william's book...where I would have loved to seen her write one all her own. Spike hit a few nails on the head, but he still is a twit and a bastard that needs to bleed for what he had done that has particpated in the downfall of Buffy Summers.

Ok so I finally read your story! I was going to wait until it was done and then wait until spring break, but my hw is so terribly boring so I couldn't help myself! You guys are doing an amazing job and I'm soooo curious to see how they are going to get back on each other's good sides. I think the intrigue is also that you two wrote in Spike's betrayal as less a mistake in the moment and more of what he felt (or thought he felt). Angsty! Keep up the great work! (and I'll be reading Fireworks soon - depends on when I cave in/procrastinate)

Go, Buffy. I just wish that she had enjoyed her encounter with Angelus. She deserves lovin' and sex, too. Is Buffy ever going to get a chance to be happy without Spike? As much as I like the Spuffy couple. This Spike has absolutely no redeeming qualities so far, besides his looks. And I hate that Buffy seems to define herself based on her relationship with him. Apparently William has always found Buffy wanting, otherwise he wouldn't have even been tempted by Dru, let alone dropping Buffy so quickly. So, I would love to see Buffy finding happiness outside of that relationship and showing that she doesn't need William at all.

Two updates in one day. Fantastic!!! Great chapter. Loved her response to Spike's statement about no one being good enough for her. I really hope that she continues to see Angel and it really gets to Spike, making him realize what he has lost. But I really hope that you don't make Buffy into a victim. I would like to see her grow up and be stronger for this breakup so when they get back together it will work. But I think Spike has to grovel and grow up some. More, please?

I really like this story a lot cuz it's so different from others I've read - vert well written too. And I'm glad Buffy is standing up for herself and being independent. Spike has some major redeeming to do, LOL.

Buffy needs to screw Angelus. It would be so unfair for Spike to have been prancing around London, screwing that vapid ho, while Buffy doesn't get any ass. I seriously doubt Buffy ever boinked Owen, so the girl needs to get laid, but not by Spike at the moment. Awesome chapter though!
