I'm loving how you are developing this fic. Spike's confusion over his reactions towards Buffy and Buffy's guilt over how she treated him in her past/his future and her trying not to make the same mistakes twice. Loved that he simply couldn't not kiss her once she was so close and how despite his best intentions he can't stop thinking of her. Off to read more!

The heck with Spike, I think I may be falling in love with this story. The words, the plot, and yeah, the characters, too... It is just so phenomenal, I forget how much I love it until I just dive into another chapter. This bit here, with Spike, definitely my favorite so far. So amazing watching her watch him, and knowing that the changes she makes for the "better future" may just keep him and Dru together (we know better, but..) that emotion is very powerful. "It's a start." And the part about who taught Buffy to kiss, really made me smile. So wonderful, update soon!

Not really a cliffhanger, but boy do I want to find out about her talk with Spike. Also liking the idea that there may be another cosmic reason why Angel would lose his soul. That could make things very interesting. Also, liking the fact that GIles is all suspicious. And can you imagine this Spike at the scooby meeting? That's yet another reason to cling to this story. Absolutley fabulous.
