First let me say, I hope the shoulder gets better soon....
NOW, can I just tell you how AWESOME it was to see this chapter and how it made my day go by when I saw it waiting for me. I just love how they all can feel something was wrong. I am just glad that Buffy and Spike can still on some level relate to each other. And what a way for them to find out about the baby that is coming. Love OZ... They all know something is off but they are going to have to work together to figure it all out.
I can't believe that Willow, all important Willow forgot to give everyone the heads up on Angelous... I mean "she did what was right" ? HA!!.. I don't know if Spike and Buffy will kill her if something really bad happens to Dawn. Can't wait for Faith to show up. Just love this chapter and story all around.

Here's some sugar - and flour and eggs and a little cinnamon for some yummy pancakes. Hope they help. So sorry it brings you pain to bring us all such wonderful work. Guess it's truly a labor of love. And I for one appreciate it. 'Course still think you're evil to leave it hanging that way... :)

Nia - Wow! This last chappy is so....just....wow! The Buffy and Spike bathroom scene was so sweet and romantic! All the suspense you have built in this story has me on the edge of my desk chair (which, btw, is dangerous since it has wheels!) in eager anticipation for whatever your clever mind has in store for us!! Keep up the great work!

Man, there's just so much going on here. Dawn and Casey being stalked by Angelus-- can't we just kill the poof? Or maybe a spell? Isn't that what Willow is best at? Using her magick to screw with everyone else when things aren't going her way? (Color me not surprised that her spell is falling apart.)
I love that Oz recognized Tara's scent and knew to go to the Magic Box. Score 2 for the Watchers that they've been supportive and helpful even though they don't know what's caused the situation they are all in.
The Spuffy moment was perfect...er,..minus the morning sickness...
Now, back to Angelus stalking Dawn and Casey. There is absolutely no good that can come of this. I can see things getting very bloody very fast. If Angelus hurts -or worse- Dawn, Spike's gonna go psycho. The question is, who'll get dead first? Willow for doing a spell in which no one remembers they've got a souless Angel running around.
Or will Spike go for Angelus' throat first for daring to harm his daughter.
Hmmmmmmmm......uh, more please? How's that arm?

Wonderful chapter. I love how Spike and Buffy are dealing together. I like your characterziations of Oz, Wesley, Giles, and Dawn so much in this chapter. All very true. I can't wait to see what happens next.!
On another note, I do hope your shoulder begins to feel better.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this story. This chapter is my favorite so far. I love the ring!!!! I loved this passage: " ...was more like ties – threads, braided together into a beautiful and unbreakable tie. Bonds. "
Also loved this passage:
"But she couldn’t just ignore something that was eternal and elemental, deep and strong as an ocean and as solid and sturdy as the earth’s core."
Thank you for sharing. I hope you feel better

Angelus' malevolent stalking of Casey and Dawn was an excellent counterpoint to all the positive discoveries at The Magic Box. Buffy and Spike's scene in the confines of the bathroom was emotional and the sense of comfort and closeness was palpable. Willow's spell has put everyone on edge and the tension was well defined throughout the chapter.

I just love this story. You're a great author

This is an excellent take the consequences of selfishness. Tabula Rasa is in my top five BtVS shows, and the way you're exploring it here is every bit as good as the show. In some ways, better. The creeping tension as the scenes shift back to Dawn and Casey being stalked by Angelus (which also answered my last chapter question of whether Angelus had been affected by Willow's spell); the growing fear inside of Willow... not quite remorseful, but she's uncomfortable; Oz's wolverine instincts; Giles and Wes's watcher instincts nagging at them and, finally; Buffy and Spike unwavering in their bond. Oh boy, is Willow in deep doo-doo. I hope that Faith's dreams aren't dismissed as easily as they seem to have been though, and I do hope Dawn and Casey somehow foil Angelus and his sick plan.
Great update, pet. Hope the aches and pains ease soon.

hey, I discovered your story by accident and found myself reading the whole saga during one rainy afternoon. and now I can't wait to read a new chapter :-)
I really love how you're managing old and new relationships and interlacing the characters' lives in brand new ways. At this moment I'm really glad Faith is coming to help; and I hope neither Angelus nor Dru will get their hands on Dawn and Casey.
I hope your shoulder will get better and that you'll update the story soon :P

I am on needles here. This is excelent story.

Another great chapter with three powerful points: the spell has not fully enveloped their senses and it is interesting to see how each character's strong point still pushes through .....Oz can smell Tara, Spike and Buffy still feel a strong connection to each other ..... and baby Connor is spell-free and very spell-aware.
The second point of impact is getting us into the mind of Willow; her delusion and disaffection grows like a cancer with each wrong tendril she puts out and the dire consequences are just about to become real in the third point of impact: Angelus and Dawn.
Take it easy, and I look forward to your next update.

Just thought I'd tell you how much I adore this story and the one that came before it. Just between us, I spent two hours reading it on the 'research only' computers at uni just because I cound't wait until I got home.
Sorry about your shoulder, I hope you feel better!
Sincerely,
Dark Eyed Seer

Okay, you gotta know that was an evil cliffhanger there Missy!
I'm still reading and you're the main reason I come to this website. I am sorry your shoulder is torturing you and giving you nothing but hell. Hope you feel better soon .
Congratulations on your awards, Nia! You totally rock.
Now, what the hell is going to happen to poor Dawn and Casey now that they are totally unaware and in danger??
Big hugs
Adriana

OHHHH, Willow has really done it this time! If somebody gets killed because they don't know the danger they are in, then it will be all her fault. I'll be on pins and needles until the next chapter.
