Hi there! So, I came across your stories at the beginning of the week, and roared my way through 'Origins' in two and a half days... needless to say, I haven't been up to much else! But, your prose captivated me - far more than any summer classes I'm taking now have managed, too. This is actually my first review written for a story on this site. I know it's bad form, but I'm definitely more of a lurking presence here than an actively participating reader. However, I have been compelled to respond to your words. They're brilliant! Now, I'm not totally sure of the etiquette involved, as far as reviewing something that has already been completed.... 'cause, it won't do much good in the editing process, if the story has already been finished, right? But, then again, everyone likes to know that their work is appreciated, right? So, I've gotta say, once again.... this is brilliant! What sparked my need to review was my (Or is it 'were my'? I'm not so hot with grammar...) reactions to Willow, throughout this 'book'. I just..... I can't believe her! Your portrayal of her character within this story evoked a rather visceral reaction in me, and it wasn't pleasant, either. Part of me is like, "Marisa, she's a fictional character", while another part of me responds with, "So? I wanna smack her anyway". I had noticed a trend on the part of the BtVS writers to let Willow off easy, with a shrug and an "I'm so cute and red-headed" and a plate full of guilt-cookies, especially when she basically began acting out like a child in a temper. And, that totally bugged me. In your work, I can hardly stand Willow's motivations. I mean, it's all her fault! And, she keeps digging her hole, making it worse. Annnnyway... I guess what I wanted to say was, thanks for this. I haven't felt this aggravated by, or this drawn to, a character within a work of fanfic (even a character from canon) in a long while. I totally hope she gets her comeuppance, but good. So, thanks for writing this - if it weren't for you, I might actually be writing papers instead, and this is MUCH better. :-) I hope this finds you well, and though my review may not actually help any in terms of actual story-editing, it should let you know that you are appreciated by at least this reader.

And here I thought the first one was good, this one has just blown me away! I can't thank you enough for writting it, it's beyond wonderful! And to end it with such a cliffhanger, OMG! Even though I kinda thought that might be where you were heading when Kirsten kept thinking about her older brother, but even though I thought it it's still way better to actually read it!!! I've got to start reading the third one right now! I can't wait to see what happens with all of them, Giles & Anya together is great, cause Xander never did really deserve her, and Faith & Jenner, is really looking forward to seeing how things go with them, as she really does need someone that can be there for her. Again I can't thank you enough for having written this!
