IMHO, this was the most spell-binding chapter to date. The plot is thick and juicy, and it's interesting to get a closer look at Lawson and Jenner.

RL may get you down at times, but there are bunches of us still following you and happy about updates whenever they may come. I hope things stay on the upswing!

Liked how Tara and Dawn had their small bonding moment. And the scene in the Magic Box with everyone laught minus the two. Great update!

I like Jenner, in that he's someone who engenders respect just by his presence. Seems to be an honorable sort, for a vampire, anyway.

I'd say burn the mansion out during the daytime. Homemade napalm, Molotov cocktails, etc. Level the playing field a lot that way.

I love the comfortable intamcy between Buffy and Spike now that they are mated. The simple brushing of the hands and comforting touches makes my Spuffy heart swell. It is so awesome how you are able to weave the supernatural into a realistic setting. What boyfriend wouldn't get nervous when the ex's name came up? I like how Buffy didn't take the bait. It says she is becoming more confident in her relationship with Spike.

Oz was there, helping Buffy with Connor’s things and staying between her and the street, guarding her flank. Once she’d gained the porch, the werewolf drifted back toward Spike, performing the same function for the vampire.

His actions, while not predatory, were battle-aware. More than cognizant of his presence, Spike was forced to reassess Oz’ possible use in the inevitable confrontation. - Oz is part of the team now and I wouldn't want it any other way. He wasn't drafted or needed to be asked, he is just fell in step without the need for formality. I love Oz.
