It's like a slow humming sound that is building and building and all you can do is sit back and wait for the explosion.

Everyone is bedding down for the night and I almost feel like I could take a breath at this point, but then, I did that when Dawn went to homecoming...and sweet Jesus that was a mistake! *wink*

As it was he was down the stairs before she cleared the threshold, the smell of her tears and distress calling to him.

Oz?” Her voice was rich with emotion and he stared at her face, waiting for her to make the first move. “O. . Oz?”

- Oh how I have so come to love Tara and Oz. Whatever their relationship ends up to be, I am just as invested in their relationship as I am Buffy and Spike!

His look was full of sincere concern, and she caved, unable to resist. He was the only one she wasn’t able to fight off, especially when he had that look on his face. Addressing the room at large, Buffy exclaimed, “How am I supposed to resist that? How?“

- A perfectly feminine moment by Buffy. I love how she caves as all women have done when faced with the *that* kind of look. She is delightfully exasperated. *grins*

“Very good.” Rupert paused, then said very softly, “Do be careful.”
She smiled, responding to his tone of voice. “Don’t get killed.”

- I loved this for no other reason than I love a happy Anya. Anya has always been underused and the burgeoning relationship between her and Giles makes my heart sing. What can I say? I'm a shipper at heart!

I simply can't wait for the next chapter! However far between, I am always grateful and excited for an update. You have not lost the faithful reader. Even when it seems like it has been a while, my potential disappointment is always rewarded with a "Ahhh..she can take all the time she needs if she keeps putting out the good stuff"

Wonderful as always. While I can't honestly say I don't care how long it takes I can understand why and can say that it doesn't matter. I'm still hooked and will wait for as long as it takes. Thank you for all your effort.

Not only am I still with you, I'm eagerly anticipating each new chapter! Despite your writer's block (which I empathize with completely), this is still one of the best fics to come across my computer screen in a long time. Very well written, great descriptions, and bonus points on the gradual shifting of relationships. If there's one thing that sucks, it's when writers have a pairing suddenly, out of nowhere, declaring their undying love. Great build-up on the Giles/Anya front and Wesley/Dawn, too, although that one is probably going to take a while to come around completely since she just lost her boyfriend and all.

Call me babble-girl! You write more, I'll read more!

Great chapter and great series so don't worry about the time between updates, I think most fans will wait quietly and not try and rush you. Thank you for posting Origins, too.
This chapter did have a new beginning for Faith, maybe she has found her vamp. From the description he is HOT, and old enough not to push her into something she is not ready for. Lawson was a nice touch in this story, he really is Spike's child more than Angel's and will make a good spy.

ohhhh goody goody, this just makes my misery go away from my day. Hmmm batten down the hatches for the night. Everyone going to the shop to share their stories and collect their thoughts. OUght to be an interesting session. Mmmmm Jenner teasing Faith was great. I am glad Faith decided to stop making the same mistakes over again. I think she will come out much better in this story. Still the ever bad ass she is,but willing to be alittle more of a team player. Poor Buffy, she has to be totally exhausted and in much need of rest. Dawn hanging on too. I loved Oz's reaction to Tara and just knowing he needed to hold on to her. Awesome stuff their Nia. so happy that the muse is speaking again on this one.

I have sorely missed this. I love this story. It is one of those you don't ever want to end.
