Mel, I enjoyed reading "Pretty Bows" and it would have been special to see something like that in Season 7. I was curious to see how you would entwine the seriousness of the Slayer's predicament of being too soft or too hard on the Potentials; it worked rather well and I could envision SMG playing Buffy the way you wrote her. I also like the way Spike was written. It's like he wants a definite answer in knowing where he fits in Buffy's life. Thanks for sharing your creative talent, slaymate. .Rock.the.Stake. ~Shanna~

I really loved this story, it was sweet and well written, I'd have loved to see it as an actual episode, it could have added exactly what was missing.

Author's Response: Good, I thought the b-day epi was sorely missed this year. I tried my best to incorporate my own version. Not too spuffy but just enough maybe? Thanks for the awesome review ~Mel
