I'm glad that Buffy knows now more about what she want (whom) and whom not. That Spike is different from Riley, even as a human. He knows her, Riley doesn't, that's right.

Yeah, he doesn't have to be a vampire to be the Energizer Bunny....

1800s birth control was definitely not pleasant. Not until into the 1900s did anything good come along. Some ideas were just downright disturbing.

At least she's still liking him, though...

Yeah you!!! I couldn't believe you had two new chapters posted, we waited soo long for an update. But I am glad you didn't forget about your loyal readers.
Aww, it was so sweet to see stubborn Buffy and protective Spike clash and afterwards when they're all alone: it got really hot. And I mean really hot. One the one hand I'm a little sad to see the attraction-denial phase go, but this is even better. You are one heck of a writer! This is my favorite story at the moment.

Author's Response: I know what you mean....part of the fun for me is the build up to the action :) Hopefully I can keep the edge there though, and knowing Spike and Buffy's volitile nature, that won't be too hard

Wow! You didn't exaggerate, you really had the next chapter up very soon after the last one *SMILE*
Hehe Buffy was too stubborn to be left behind; Buffy reminded him that she are a team now. Yet Spike only did it to protect her. Two people on one horse? I wonder if they are able to catch up with Katie, she is riding alone. ~ Awe, both are a bit insecure and yet they are won't stop. And it got HOT :) And good that Spike didn't forgot that he is human now (at the moment). So maybe three will come back that were two before. ~ Loved to see another update :)

Actually pretty level-headed thinking on Spike's part. Well, that was well worth the wait. And I have to agree with Buffy on the "in this t" together" and "it's OUR destiny" thing. I think, if and when they find the coin, and if and when they find what ever the need to find in this time - they will have to be together. And when they have completed their destiny in this time, they will go back TOGETHER as well. So her "sticking together" idea has merit. Love this tale - so original. More please.
