That was an intense chapter. Oodles of fun. And, great line, "So as far as scary things went, she was pretty much jaded. But one thing couldn’t fail to scare her: seeing Spike scared. " Hope they're rid of the big doggie. Messing with Carlita is a whole different kind of fun. Can't wait for that update!

Uh-huh... Spike, the master vampire, is scared? The it's time to get scared too. Oh Buffy is pissed off now. Carlita will get her share (if Buffy and Spike made it out of this situation). Mmm Spike has a plan now. It worked for now :) But the dog is still alive. Mmm cliffhanger? Yes :)

Oooh I love this chapter! The banter between Spike and Buffy in the jeep is hilarious!

Oh dear, will Buffy and Spike be alright? How come they couldn't see it with their naked eyes? Or can they only see it in mirrors? Looking forward to the next chapter, sweetie!

Author's Response: I didn't mean to imply that it couldn't be seen. It's just dark and there's a lot of trees, and Spike is driving fast to try to lose it. But the beast can definitely be seen. Sorry for the confusion. I'll clarify this in the next chapter. And are they gonna be alright? Well... It's Buffy and Spike. They'll find a way to get out of this mess, and kick some asses while doing it ;) Thanks for the review.

“Good. That was my evil master plan: to make you happy.”--Loved that little bit. The whole chapter was a bunch of fun. Buffy digging deep into Spike's past. Such fun. Gotta wonder about Samara and the monster Carlita wants to raise. That sounds like much less fun. Loved the chapter.
