So I have never really been into HumanAu spuffy stories, but this just became one of my top 3! To say Im gutted thats how it ended is an understatement! Haha i know the chances are slim to none but omg please please for the love of spuffy finish this story!! It cant end like that! I NEED TO KNOW IF THEY GET OUT OF THE GANG LIFE OR IF BUFFY STAYS AND THEY OVER THROW ANGELUS AND RUN THE GANG TOGETHER!? Does she say it back? Does she jump off the cliff? I need to know if she forgives him for what happened, what happens to angelus, dru and the rest of the gang? Does Giles help them start a new life? I NEED ANSWERS, I need closure hahaha Seriously though, it was a GREAT fic! Definitely being added to my must read again list

I didn't see that this was All Human It just surprised me that when she didn't fight back that hard. I just finished An Alternated Attraction @ BSV found this off your live journal. Guess that's why this isn't over there, no all human fics. Good beginning, I don't usually read A/H but I liked your other story so I'll give it a try. Thanks .

i finally got over here to catch up this fic pj and i just had to tell you before i continue that this first chapter is amazing. It made me tear up. You pair the flashback with the present day perfectly, both creating suspense and intrigue! I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Hi PJ, I didn't want to start reading a new WIP because I'm reading so many of them right now and I have a busy life, but decided to give this one a try anyway. So far, I'm really liking this. Very dark. I enjoy the flashbacks. It's really horrible what happened to Joyce. I don't think I'd ever get over it if something like that happened to me. Can't blame Buffy for running away. Can't wait to read the rest.
Author's Response: I don't hate Joyce, but I needed a major tragedy that would just void Buffy of feeling. The fic is dark, and continues to be, but if you give it a chance til the latest chapter, you'll see it does have a tiny shining bright side that will come out fully at the end. Author's Response: Yes, true. I think if you give it a chance it gets better, but you might not want to read it if you thought chapter 1 was dark, since chapter 4 reaches the rape scene. If you're ok with reading that, then you should be fine with the rest :)

I just have a couple of comments. So far I like the plot and am very intrigued. Your writing could use a bit of polishing, but the storyline may make up for that.
You also don't explain whether or not Buffy is a slayer - I assume not, but I think you should explain at the beginning.
Author's Response: Hm, I'll consider putting the Human AU thing in he beginning - I guess I assumed people knew, but that's a good point. And thanks for the comments - I already know my first few chapters of my fictions are a bit cringeworthy, in my opinion, but I do depend on the storyline to remedy that, lol. Thanks for reviewing!

hmmm, going to second chapter, but thought I would say this is an original concept so far.....with the killing of Joyce this way and the usaully Angel usage of Parker. I'm whiling to give it a go, just on that alone.......I hope not much more really aweful things happen to Buffy.......after her mother, I"m sure she is already on the verge of going over the edge......
Author's Response: I'm glad you gave it a chance! Yea, the Joyce thing was very traumatic, but I wanted to give a big reason for her to run away, plus an internal battle for Buffy right from the beginning. She's really being put to test! Thanks for the review :)

Oh my god, poor Buffy! The scene where Parker runs her mom over just floored me. Wonderful, angst-filled beginning. I love your dramatization of LA. Never been there, but I think this darker view of it enhances the dramaticism you are trying to build. I can't wait to see what happens to Buffy!

The only reason I chose to say L.A., was because I needed a name for the city - otherwise, it's my own creation (except the bum which really does happen! lol). Poor Buffy :-( And idiot Parker (there aren't enough bad things I can say about him). I'm glad Spike will make an appearance in the next chapter, although I'm a little more interested in how evil you're going to make Angelus :-) And how Buffy will test both of them LOL! I'm glad you said the girl was Drusilla at the end, because at first I thought it was Faith (with the leather). Excellent chapter- very worth the looooong wait from when you told me about the idea :-P
