I'm still surprised that she didn't tell him about their plans. What does she gain by being quite. Doesn't she realise that if something happens to him then she'll belong to Spike's lackey's or Angelus? Great chapter, thanks for the read.

I like this story for its dark undertones your writing really is outstanding. I find it interesting she is attracted to him and he fights with himself over the man who he is and the man who is trying to be. You can like see he has to be void of all emotion and then you can see where he wants to be close to her. I wonder with the sexual relationship how it if would be if he reversed roles on her a bit. I mean instead of her laying there fighting with herself no to participate or let herself feel anything what if he changed his tactics? I mean what would she do if he instead of being the one doing always forcing the issue what if he changed it so although she was having sex with him he made it so she would be doing the work? I mean if he choose to lay back and instead of her just having to lay there why not he try to get a response out of her and switch the positions a bit? I mean if Spike had her ride him it be pretty next to impossible for her to show no feeling or response at all plus in a way she'd have more of a feeling of control and power here. She is so used to his demand of sex I do not think she'd know what to do in this position or how to hold herself back. There has been such a build up of him trying to kiss her in the most intimate of moments and she always turns away I think it be outstanding if one time he sat up and caught her off guard in a moment of passion where they'd both forget themselves for a few moments all of their defenses and just feel what they could have together if they'd let themselves. Sorry I know I ramble and you are the author! I just love this storyline and would love to see it continue for these two are so well written by you and have such a well written chemistry I'm just dying till a update comes along!!!!

I see you are on a vacation but please continue on this fiction when you come back. I first started reading this thinking this is dark and was prepared not to like it but you really put a spin onto this story and I find myself checking daily for updates. You can see they are both moving towards each other little by little as they both seem to fight themselves not to. I like how you have written Spike you can see he wants more he's just unsure how to get there and Buffy has great inner turmoil going on fighting herself and her past and her attraction for him. I hope when you return to see more of this and all your other fics as well you have a wonderful unique writing style that pulls you into a whole other world where you are* pulled into the storyline so much you forget your just reading it. I really look forward to your return and updates on this story. 4 Stars! A Great writing talent everyone must take time to read this and all of this authors work. You will not* be disappointed. A first class writer and Spuffy story teller. Fantastic Read.

Well, looks like subconcious Spike came out to play. So sweet! This chap had a tons of stuff - scary threats, great (sweaty) fight scene (dance) hot sex and secrets! You sure are making the best of your out of country internet time! LOVE IT MUCHLY and want more (but I'll wait as long as it takes for a PJ update!).

I like how Buffy is really trying and learning in her training. I can't wait to see her kick some ass!! :-D Now that Buffy learned a little something about Spike (Dru chose Angelus over him), maybe she can use that to her advantage somehow. And I just know that Riley and Lindsay's plans are going to come and bite her in the ass since she didn't tell Spike about them.... Spike's perusal of her body (to check for injuries?) was so sweet. Poor Buffy didn't know what it was. And the sex scene at the end was both hot and... confusing... It was nice that he was gentle and cuddly with her in his sleep, and that spot Buffy has on her neck really is her downfall isn't it? (Mine too!!) Buffy seemed to like it that he wasn't in control for once. He should let her be in control more often if he wants her to come around. And I wonder what she does when she runs off into the bathroom. Is she upset (crying?), angry at herself, disgusted, just cleaning up, etc? Spike should follow her one of these times so he could see, maybe he'll feel guilty and be a little nicer. Or not. It's still fun to read either way. ;-) And she gets a 'present' in the next chapter you say? Well now I'm even more eager to read it!!!!
