Ok am the only one who does a complete and full Spuffy scream whenever I notice a update on this story?

AMAZING! Update so many things I loved going on in this. Every new chapter we see Buffy inch a little bit forward and a little bit back with Spike I'm hoping th e girl notices and faces what she thinks and feels soone before theres no turning back.
Just love your work and am a huge fan excellent job!

I was glad to see you put in a bit of back story on her after so many hints of how terrible things were for her. I hope she gets to kill him at some point. I know I know it's evil to say but he needs to die for all his victums. Loved this new chap. Spike has grown so much I really hope Buffy can as well, for each other cause they have the makings of a great love once they get past all the pain they could be a force of strength for each other. I have to say out of all the writers out there I love you work the most. you write a story so flawlessly. om make me want Buffy to love him the more I read this and now shes starting to peice things together more and more. And no matter he did save her from Angel in the fight that has to count for something.4 star writing.

Poor Spike its to hard to say the real reason he can't let her go so he lies. These two read others so easy but can't seem to read each other at all very well. I almost want Buffy to find Amys killer so she can have some eye opening realazations about Spike.

Aww hes so trying for her to see his feelings for her and you wrote it out so well with him telling her over and over he would not lose her in the fight and her not being able to believe it. In a way its like him saying he loves her and her denying it over and over again.
Poor Cordy it's just a matter of time till she kills Angel I think and it be just cause. I liked how you followed up with pieces of her past and insight on her hate towards him. Now... Was it Dru or Harmony who killed Amy?
Dru so Spike looks evil and people turn on him?
Or Harm cause of her hate towards him now and her wanting Buffy to hate him as well?

He so desperately is trying to please her you can so see where he wants so much more from her and wants to give her everything he can. I really liked he kept telling her over and over he would not lose. Even before removing her night shirt he makes eye contact even to visually ask her if it is ok. Impossibly great update.

Ah ha! Even her turning to him for comfort is a whole new step and that in itself is a huge thing. Sure she put up walls and got defensive about it later on but I think once she thinks it over and has some time she will begin to really see Spike. The fact that she reached out for him and how that fact that she even would meant so much to him. Loved this new chapter start to finish you have a unique gift with story telling and you never hop about with your storyline you never let a reader down.

The last chapter was, I felt, a step forward. This one feels like a step back... and all because Buffy can't see beyond the pain of her enforced stay. She has to pile all of the blame on to Spike and she's not yet ready to accept that it's him that keeps her from suffering the humiliations of being passed around all the men in the place.

He's really trying, and I feel. It's a great shame he doesn't feel confident enough in her to be more open with her though... I'm still of the mind that unless they join together they're going to come a cropper...

The sex scene was very revealing, wasn't it. He wanted to give her pleasure before taking some for himself. She, on the other hand, only sought comfort. I wonder if she'll think back on this and recognise that he was doing the giving?

Author's Response: Lots of ppl have noted to me that they seem to be switching roles, or that they don't seem to be able to read each other well. I think sometimes when people try to be with each other, they do things that they think will help, but they don't really take the time to see what the other person really wants, or is about. Whenever they are able to read each other like an open book, it will finally be the moment they take a REAL step forward :) Thanks for the review!

Yes, it takes me forever to write a chapter, and also I just don't have the time to do it during the weekdays, so if my weekend is taken up by say...a social life or visiting my family, then writing never happens :( But thanks for understanding!

Oh my God... I was practically chewing my nails out... it was crazy with suspense! I'm so glad Spike won though, cos I don't think I can stomach reading Angelus raping Buffy.

And what happened to Amy? Did someone slip in during the fight and killed her? Only time (and you) will tell... I'll be tuning in. Great chapter, btw. ;)

I loved the way they were different at the beginning of this chapter. And then I remembered the fight, and had this immense fear that you would leave some crazy cliff hanger in the middle of it. Well, I'm really glad that Spike won and all, but, damn, there's still a cliff hanger of sorts. What exactly did do Amy in, I wonder. And can our girl ever forgive Spike for it? And what will they do with the body... Really loved the chapter. Can't wait for more.
