YAY U UPDATED!!!!!! i love this story so much and am so happy u updated. i really wish buffy would see that spikes changing and that he cares for her. also im glad to see that spike isnt allowing himself to have sex with her and i wish she would see his reasoning behind it. i hope that angelus doesnt get ahold of buffy and that she starts to accept him more. also i hope that spike and buffy work everything out. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more. thanx

I just found this story this mornig and read all chapters ..... IT IS AWESOME !!! I do not usually gravitate toward dark stories but I am hooked on this one.
I love how you are changing Spike yet still maintaining his control.
Great character development and great plot.

I don't think I have read any of your work before but this is one superbly written story. It is hard not to find yourself being empathetic to even the worst of the characters. As you go along in this you want Harmony to get stronger, you want Cordy to get even with Angel, you want Dru to get what she deserves and this is only the supporting characters. Then there is the main story of Spike and Buffy and I really liked how you made them both unhappy in their own lives prior to the introduction to the gang in a way they are forced to change and become stronger for it. You see with Spike being completely destroyed in his betrayal from Dru you learned the how and why he became a monster just to survive and his relationship with Buffy the many mistakes he makes even though he can recognize in himself a part of his attraction to her stems from he really being still William underneath. With Spike winning Buffy and the death of the drug addict girl once again there is mixed emotions and misunderstanding. Slowly you get to see Buffy take in information and figure things out too often in other stories I've seen where the author pushes things to soon and it is refreshing to see in this story it is not the case. It makes it believable and the characters have a life to them. It seems now Buffy is forming a plan although it will be cool to see if she allows her emotions for Spike to grow or change. I see there have not been updates on this story in some time but it is too great of a storyline to not keep going with it. I hope you continue with this at some point for there are not enough great writers out there.

I just spent way too much of today reading all the chapters to date. It's delightfully nasty, and I'm loving Spike's attempts to woo Buffy even as she plots her escape. So Beauty & the Beast. I look forward to more updates. Though I have no idea if you posted this yesterday or two years ago.

Ok let me catch my breath and say this has to be my new favorite story. I think I loved the chapter best where Buffy was akoken by Spike and they kind fell into sex till he woke up. Buffy seems to really have put walls aroung herself for her own protection and I think it's good no instant love was felt between them. I like how you have slowly with real emotion have changed these two. I do hope Buffy will allow herself a little more softness with where things seems to be headed I do not think her plan will go according plan. I see her focused on escape but I keep hoping she won't be able to keep herself from caring about William. I understand her hate towards Spike but I hope she can see the man inside and let herself care for him. It's a hard thing to do in such a well written story cause you gotta pull it off somehow. I started reading this last night and just could not stop till I got to this last page. Not many writers have this kinda talent I do so hope you continue with this saga.

It's so hard not to love this story each chap. draws you more and more in. I've never read any other Spuff story like this one and that is saying something. Complex multi level charactors this story seems to have a life of its own. Really hope you continue with it over the summer.
