phew - dark, very very dark. i do like the dark fics now and again. and a word to your other reviewers: you DID say you were going to explore a darker side of buffy, and that you did. really well written piece. i too would have liked to have seen spike turn the tables on her, but it's your story and your vision. weird thing - i can't stand to see spike witih ANYBODY but buffy, but most of the time i hate buffy for being such a bitch. and oh wow was she a bitch here - a very dark, evil bitch. but i wonder - what did xander tell her to do? thanks for sharing this with us.

Author's Response: thanks so much for the review! I have a tendency to go a tad evil with my characters. What did Xander say? Well, I'm not sure. But it was probably something like..."Follow your heart." Cause, you know...your heart may not always lead you to a happy place.
