OK-- I'm jsut going to keep going with this as the ideas come to me. Thanks for getting Joyce all (semi) cleared up. That would have been real annoying if it had gone on and on and on -- the failure to communicate forcing the story along. As always, love your dialogue. Completely in character

Great story lovin it. can u try n finish ur other stories because they are soo goodd. ALL ur stories are written to such a high standard and are floorless, u dnt even havre to be a buffy lover to read them there so good!

Lovely chapter. I still don't think that Spike killed Joyce. Plus he was all confused when she accused him of it. Very interesting reaction that Spike had to Buffy leaving and not being safe. Definitely looking forward to how that turns out. More please.

Another excellent chapter. Poor Buffy. Even if she does overreact sometimes, it would be pretty confusing to find yourself mated to a vampire. I love the passion between these two, it just poors out of the screen.

"The claim doesn't like me thinking about killing you, but it doesn't seem as opposed to me knocking you around."--Love that line, kind of sums up their relationship pretty well, too. And the part about Joyce, I knew it! Now that my inner party is over, we all know that Spike, despite much bravado, is a lousy liar. Love the way the chapter played out, including her little call to Giles, just to let him know she was okay, a very nice touch. Wonder what kind of research that raised in Sunnydale. And now we have to wait to find out what really happened to Joyce. Can guarantee you won't be losing this reader anytime soon. Fabulous story.
