i've read all the chapters of this story today... my eyes are bleeding but it was worth it! :D
i must say there were things i didn't like in the beginning... the non-slayer buffy, and spike's behaviour (u did warn us, though... lol).... but i kept reading 'cos u're a great author and i was sure there were good reasons for all that. guess i was right! (about u being a skilled one, lol)
buffy has now gained the physical strengh to be his equal.... and spike is doing a great job at being... spike! putting his mate happiness before his own (and sometimes losing it in the process... but we love him anyways...), just trying to be loved, still not feeling worth enough. hope buffy will see through his demon, and love both him and the man!!
ok.... hope u can understand all my ramblings! i tried to sum the 24 reviewed i owed u into a big one!

Forever is a scary prospect, it's no wonder Buffy freaked. An excellent chapter that started off light and took a sharp turn.

It had been bad enough to think about spending a normal human lifespan with that arrogant, overbearing vampire.

Except for the part where it wasn't so bad at all, but Buffy chose to ignore that. It interfered with her righteous indignation.

ERRR WAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!! why does buffy always have to get mad an mess everything up, they were happy and she had to ruin it. i love this story so much and am so happy u updated. i cant believe buffys all upset about being with spike forever, she should be so happy to be with him. i really hope that she starts to get over her stupid feelings and accept that she loves spike and they are ment to be together forever. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more and see war happen next. thanx

Really good chapter! I would do a better review except for the fact that I'm doing homework (at least that's what I'm telling myself, lol!).

Great chapter. Even though this is obviously one of those steps backwards, I don't think it is too horrible. Buffy at least thought about seeing the emotions in Spike's eyes, even if she didn't realize it. Maybe she will be able to admit that demons do have feelings cause she can so clearly see them. Can't wait for more. Hopefully they will cool off some, and then make up again. ; ) There are upsides to fighting.

My goodness, that's quite a thing to wrap one's mind around. Forever... I can understand her fear. Poor Spike. That's one of those things that is never a really good time to tell. It's too late for a warning once it's in place, and the whole claim, can't really stop that once you've started. And it was going so smoothly last chapter, we were sure headed for a shakeup, and this one is very entriguing. Can't wait to see them not talk this on out. Amazing chapter, thanks for sharing.
