Great to see a new chapter here. Loved the confrontation with Joyce. She is soooo delusional.

I wish they would just call the police when they sneak out again; Foster homes will be much better than this, isn't it? Or that when Wesley and Joyce finally marry, Wes will discover the kids and dump Joyce on her ass after rescuing the kid.

The nerve of that woman. It amazes me that she can compare her suffereing to theirs. She may now be the young socialite her father always wanted, but she's lost some level of humanity. So glad they can cling to each other. Going to have to watch out for those darn perceptive twins, though. They're going to figure some things out sooner rather than later. Great chapter, always ready for more!

They've already got an evil grandmother, for balance and variety I think it'd be better to keep Joyce gray area. And um don't hate me, but I think Will's crying has gone way overboard. As the male lead of the fic it's not very attractive for him to seem like such a sissy. These are just minor complaints, overall I'm still enjoying this fic immensely -- I wouldn't have stuck with it as long as I have if I felt otherwise.

Author's Response: I can't make any promises about Joyce, but the crying for WIlliam is going to subside a bit. I think he just had to get over this last hump of giving up on his mom. Will was the last one to believe in her and I see him letting go of that belief as being very hard on him, hence the crying. Thanks for the review!

Go William! I'm wondering what will happen when one day, hopefully, they are released from the attic and thrust into the real world again...will thier bond be the same, their love? Love it.

Excellent Chapters. I was a little woried when you made Will a little more violent that usual (see Chris in 'Flowers in the attic') but then it turned out alright. :) I can't wait for your next chapter!

Author's Response: I wish I could remember the book better because I have no idea what you are talking about with Chris. I read it so long ago that I don't remember much but the general plotline and some specific scenes. Then someone writes something in a review (like yours) and I feel like I should know what you are talking about. A lot of times I do things thinking they are my own little idea and it turns out it was in the book a bit differenty. My subconcious must remember more than I think!

And now Spike wants Buffy to forget what he said about his feelings.. but Buffy still knows. And the twins? Cleve indeed. They (Buffy and Spike) can be glad that the twins didn't get it that Wesley stayed longer in the their mom's room.
Uh-huh.. speaking of the devil. She's there with good news. Her grandfather dead would be too easy, I guess the wedding. Yeah, indeed. And still going for the plan.
I'm glad that William did stick with Buffy, support her. Because Joyce? Even if she says the cares, she isn't showing it, isn't there. And who says the wedding will solve everything? Wesley doesn't know of them, that makes it complicated. ~ Looking forward to read more.

Well gal you finley did it.This chapter made me cry.This is one of the most sad fic I have yet to read.Joyce has past the stage of being human.The word selfish dosent cut it,The word clulese would be to kind.She is worse then Drusilla.For Drusilla is evil and she knows what she dose to the 4 in the attic.She knows the why and the what.But Joyce is there mother,and yet she allows her children to be locked up, and has thrown the key away.All the timw crying poor poor me.She hasn't begun to think Buffy and Will are almost grown,what that could do to there sex life.Yet she screws Wesley to her hearts content.She is a monster!"As far as Dawn and Conner,they dont exsist.Like I said Monster!:I want to see a happy ending,but at this point I can't see it.To be thrown into this hell,what is going to happen to will and Buffy.I wish you could reply,but I know you are busy.And I understand this.You have brought this story in full wake up mode.And I see nothing but more paine.Where alse can it go.?????

Well, I dunno about the others, but I for one am still looking forward to each of your posts (no matter how far between they are!) I really like where you're taking this story, and I can't wait to see what happens! Someone needs to slap that clueless mother a good one.
