Poor Buffy, jealous of her daughter because she thinks that's the only reason Spike wants her. Lovely bit of violence there, too. Great chapter.

Hey, I really like this story, especially Chris. She is one of the few of the "Spike and Buffy's daughter from the future" characters that I actually like as he own character. She is interesting all by herself. I really like the interaction between her and her parents, and how the story is set in early season five, so things are a bit more difficult for her, and thus more interesting for us. I look forward to more chapters and seeing Chris with both of her parents together!

okay, first of all, i don't like her. she seems way too creepy and i don't think her mother would be too proud about the killing of humans. which brings me to my next point, why the hell is she killing monks? they're the ones that created dawn and sent her to buffy and i thought glory already killed them. i think you're getting them confused for those creepy scab demons that were glory's minions. i'm still so confused by this story and i'm still not seeing much sense of it. buffy and spike are also a bit out of character, and i thought that she would stop being a bitch to spike after finding out they had kids together. i guess it's impossible for her not to be a bitch. i honestly don't know why i'm still reading this story. i may give one more chapter a chance, but that's all i can take.

Author's Response: She is like this because of her past Sam, not because her parents raised her this way, but because they died. I think I made that clear when she said she wasn't proud of who she had become. The demons in the brown garements are the monks, not the real monks. And this story is Spuffy, so they will get together, don't worry. I'm sorry you feel this way about it, but I hope that the next few chapters will make you understand why she is who she is.
