Seems that yet again..the plot thickens. I am just taking a guess..But I think the seer might have been talking about the POWERS THAT BE...They are the ones who "cursed" Sera.
What they have planned for her..why she was fighting the Slayer..and what Spike's role in all this..just can't figure it out. I look forward to each chapter as something new is revealed. Great job!
Author's Response: Yes it's the Powers That Be that cursed Sera. Elizabeth wanted to fight the Slayer in the hopes of ending her existence but Spike intervened...

Spike is much a devoted mate, I like how he's taking such good care of his Elizabeth. I'm glad the clan hasn't noticed anything off with Sera. Should be interesting to see if they all make the trip to China. I can't wait to find out what Spike and Sera learn in China. Wonderful update!

Oh my.. Angelus. This time he pushed it very far. Maybe too far? If Drusilla hadn't get Darla Spike would probably been dust soon. Who knows what Angelus is capable of? Poor Spike and Sera. It's always so sad when Spike gets tortured. You did a great job of showing the love and devotion Spike and Sera feel for each other in this chapter. I like the way Darla showed Angelus who was boss. All this talk of a prophecy has me really intrigued. Can't wait to learn more about the prophecy. Good update.
Author's Response: Thanks. Since this is written as first person Spike, the prophecy will take time before it's fully revealed. All we'll know for a while is that Spike is important to the order... for now...

Angelus is such a baby..He's like a little boy that wants to take away Spike's new toy..He can't stand that he can't just turn Sera's head.
I hope that Sera and Spike can last through the ages..They seem really strong together. Spike was able to take on Angelus without getting his butt handed to him..LOL
