Thank Goodness !! She was a young, very younf, single mom with so many responsibilities and felt there weren't any options. And considering she had no family support (Xander, the ponce), she did the only thing she thought she ccould, a mistake, granted, but at that age mistakes are made. I am so happy that Spike is seeing beyond that. Great chapter and thanks

I'm really love this fic . Glad that you updated .
Spike and Xander should step down of there high horses and give Buffy a break .
Buffy did what she had to do to survive and keep her family together .
I don't think Spike and Xander are big on morals themselves .
Buffy should ask Spike how many woman he's slept with and used over the years .
And not coming back for your own mother's funeral is inexcusable , and proves Xander only cares about himself and no-one else . I feel so sorry for Anya being with a jerk like him .
Lets hope that Buffy does not have to make all the sacrifices here to be with Spike , because that would be unfair on her.
Sorry about the rant ,I really am enjoying this fic , it's just that Spike and Xander are both really pisssing me off .

Wow...why can't Spike understand why she HAD to be a prostitute? She had no other choice!!! I hope he faces reality and realizes how much Buffy had to go through because not only did Xander abandon her when she need them the most, so did Spike. She had no other option and sadly, all she can do now is stripping. I do hope they get together, but I want Spike to realize how much pain has been in her life. Great chapter! Can't wait to see more! Well I'm very split in my views on prostitution, I think that if a woman (or man for that matter) wants to sell their body and is comfortable with that then I don't see any real problem. However I do hate it when people do it more or less against their will. I'm a little surprised that social sevices or something didn't step in when Joyce died, I mean both Dawn and Buffy were kids.
Interesting story though.
Author's Response: I don't like prostition when it's forced either, but Buffy had to do it to support her family. about social services, I don't think I wrote about that. About this chap then... I understood Xander more, I'm glad you made him more human, that he also knows what it's like to have to take care of someone. It added another dimension to the story, although it's not at all a good reason to leave your family.

Sorry to hear about your computer problems..I had a huge computer crash awhile back and lost everything too..I back up EVERYTHING now! lol
It was a relief that Buffy was able to let Xander have a piece of her mind! It wasn't satisfying in the way it would be if he had just admitted that he was sorry and so very wrong..but it was realistic. I agree with Willow's pov..Buffy needs to weigh everything in her mind concerning Spike. I think the benefits far outweigh the cons of moving to LA with him.. Thanks for the great update!
Author's Response: Yeah I wanted it to be realistic, it just didn't feel right when I wrote that Xander admitted that he was wrong and the he wanted to makes things right. I think Buffy needs to decide what's going to happen between them... he made a mistake and he has to know that he can't just make that right. But that will happen in a couple of chapters later. I like this story, had to re-read the last chapter since I couldn't quite remember where it left off. Good chapter, Xander is an asshole in this story that's for sure. I can't imagine people like that, I understand his hesitation about taking care of them but still after he made it I would have expected him to chip in with momey at least and to keep in touch. The total abandoment and the judgemental shit makes him the villan in this story as far as I'm concerned. Although I think that Buffy and her way of not telling Spike about their child is pretty bad too.

It's official: Xander is THE world champion of asses in all categories. Not only stupid: he asks, no, he wants her sister to quit her job. And? Will he help her to support Dawn and Emma? Will he get her another job? And he proves he can be more stupid: he dares to think that Buffy enjoys being a stripper! PLUS: he is egoist and irresponsible: to let alone his younger sisters, his own blood, both minors! AND, God! so self-centred: to have the boldness to say to Buffy: "You know what it’s like to know that your sister is taking her clothes off for any man who has money?". Always: "Me, me, me". So Xander wanted so much to be alone? Well, he has been on a good way for 6 years to finally be absolutely alone. Logical: when you don't care for anyone, noone will care for you. I don't think Buffy could keep secret the fact she had to be a hooker. If Spike is a real man, he will understand. I hope. Our girl deserves a happy end!

Xander is a putz!!! And he doesn't have a clue, judging people when what they do is to survive. Buffy made the best out of a terrible situation, as to how Spike is going to react to the prostitute thing, that may be hard, but I am hoping that he can deal.
